We're basically still on the runway, desu. Last cycle BTC hit it's previous ATH and then it still took almost a full year before the top of the bullrun in 2017. We're just barely reaching for previous ATH now, we got a ways to go but the good part is it's gonna be exciting as fuck the whole way.

Major is Computer science. And I took 4 computer science courses this semester. And everything's online so I can't really focus like I used to when I went to study on-campus. You know, irresponsible kid stuff.

Crypto has my full and complete attention right now, when it does that's usually a top. Last time that happened was Sept 1 during the defi bubble.
Might go a bit higher like a month at most but once the small cap alts are done pumping I think a pullback to 12k is possible. Maybe a final shakeout; a rebound from there is super bullish because that means 12k is seen as "cheap."
Dump more from there and that means big players are done and have taken profit.

reasons for bearish bias:
>All this institutional stuff is bull; Square and paypal are not buying for themselves; they're custodians for retail buyers.
>hedge funds/institutions have to take profit too
>Funding flipped highly in favor of shorts
>Michael Saylor is literally a failed CEO turned gambler CEO
>aggregated btc derivatives are at ATH, so big decisive move will make smart money a lot of crypto

newfags always amaze me they think macro cycles are completed in a few months after a 2 year bear market, I’ve been in the game since 2016 this is nothing new to me. Look at who Biden just chose for the fed chair, Yellen will print and pump 10x as much as Powell did. The usd will get crushed and btc will hit 6 digits by q1 2022. It’s so predictable to me now it’s not even difficult. Gold will hit 4-5k in the same time period, silver 70-80$

No where near, normies looked briefly in 2019 I think due to the shocking jump to 14k but wrote it off as 'dead' I received IRL signals about this from normies close to me. Articles in news were only just spreading then, and gradually building up. At the top they were in front pages all the time (people's Facebook/Twitter news feeds). More tech friendly normies will IRL bring it up to discuss I remember saying how I got justed on LTC as I sold it just before it pumped to like $300 a coin or more.

People were mining daily earning $5 for decent GPUs on whattomine. Fucking genesis mining contracts and shit like that which would end up paying off only if you jumped in at the start of the bull.

the difference with defi is there's 10000 shill posts for food token.
the difference between 2017 and now is ICOs happened simultaneously with the craze blowoff top whereas a lot of that smallcap craze already happened in august in 2020. though money still might flow there.

if you could figure out how much grayscale has in their warchest to buy then you can get some idea of how high the price will go.
their market cap is 2 billion difference from the btc holdings they have but that doesn't mean they have 2 billion to spend on bitcoin.
right now around $18000 / btc , 900 mined per day - that's at least $16,200,000 in new money being bought directly from the miners everyday.
