How the hell do you discretely buy crypto in Canada?

My bank keeps flagging my transactions.

kraken lets you do a cash/debit deposit via canada post https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027825511

I've done e-transfers with shakepay, some in the thousands with no issue from my bank though.

They like to deactivate my card until I call them up to reactivate it. It's a waste of my time.

Consider opening an account in blackcatcard, thats an european card, and you may add funds with your standard card, also, you have dukascopy, a digital swiss bank, also provides virtual cards

I've got 60k of self directed stocks in there and I don't know how to move them easily if I were to change banks.

>>24197006
Hell yeah, thanks anon, this is a good idea.
I'd like to be able to wire a bunch of money to a more lenient bank and just buy crypto through them.

Fuck this piece of shit bank. A few years ago, they had a security breach and people lost their chequing and savings accounts. They can go eat shit.

Are there any banks or credit unions in Canada that have a free account with no monthly fee, and that are totally okay with crypto sending/receiving (preferably all methods, not just e-transfers)?

>> No.24199699

I use tangerine mastercard on binance to buy crypto. It counts as a cash advance so there is a 5 dollar fee but I just prepay the card ahead of time so at least there is no interest. Works for me. Hate paying fees but I think crypto brokerages are all about this.

tell them not stop flagging your transactions or you'll close your account. if they keep flagging your transactions then close your account.

>> No.24200067

I'm about ready to tell them to fuck off.
Last time they deactivated my card they told me they saw I've been purchasing a lot of crypto which was against their ToS. I played dumb and said no one told me that wasn't allowed.

I'm still buying crypto through that credit card, but the transactions stay pending for a long time so I can't make bulk purchases, even if I prepay into my credit card ahead of time.

fuck bmo, those niggers froze my account on Christmas eve ffs after I took out a couple grand in cash for gifts. then they banned me from etransfers because it was crypto related.

>> No.24200520

>>24200307
Damn that's crazy they can just ban you like that.

Was it one big e-transfer that they caught on to or was it a lot of smaller transactions overtime?

I'm trying to buy ETH with a bunch of tiny transactions over credit card so I'm hoping the won't do anything too severe.

Bro you mean you (((bank)))? (((They))) don't want you to buy crypto. They know this is the 4th Industrial Revolution and they won't be taking a leading role in it so they are mad and trying to stop it.

Stop using a Jew bank bro.
