Been an amazing week in EVs/PLTR but it feels a bit too good to be true at this point. I made a killing on CIIC and my big SBE bet from Pre-Biden win, but I’ve since moved out of both. SBE seems unstoppable at this point but I wanted to play it safe. Moved a lot of profits into mid-2021 PSTH calls. Not sure what to play right now as I feel we are in a period of euphoria. Still have some Horse calls and HYLN LEAPs to maintain EV exposure. Just looking to see where other anons heads are at.

Seems like they are at a ceiling currently, in terms of phone sales Huawei is biting into them in the Chinese market quite a bit, and I don't see why that wouldn't continue once Huawei phones are released in Europe/India/other markets. Not to mention how hard they are going to dominate the African market in the next 5 years.

In terms of computer sales they will always have the macbook pro, but with the decreased usability of the newer models a lot of professional photography people I know are keeping their old models or switching to windows. Not sure if this is widespread though.

First off, comparing apples to apples, AirBnB is absolutely cheaper than equivalent hotels. That is by fucking design, most of value that AirBnB provides is in their price data aggregator. They ensure that any given rental in any given location is price competitive for that instant in time and it updates pricing constantly. When hotel prices can swing %30+ for special events or holidays or even just based on freakish demand, that’s fantastic.

Second, AirBnBers have no rights. Even if I couldn’t make more money than renting normally, I’d still do AirBnB with my property because I’m allowed to discriminate against whoever I want and for pretty much any reason. Renters can tie you up with legal bullshit for up to 6 months without paying a dime. I don’t worry about that with AirBnB.

That being said, conventional renting is far less work. You can’t be a scumbag landlord and have an AirBnB, you need to do all that cutesy “atmosphere” and “experience” shit to keep good reviews and guests coming. Normal rentals are set it and forget it once you get a decent tenant which is far better in terms of opportunity cost once you get more than 2-3 units in your portfolio. If all you got is your one bedroom shit shack starter home, AirBnB is superior.
