You have people like the Kardashians who start with porn and ride the wave of fame into slightly less exploitative and gross media, then roll that over into even more legitimate things. It takes a genuine mastery of understanding how to play the fame game to do that. Then you have most other people who are constantly having to show a little more skin to keep their revenue up until they hit this point. It's just a question of how long before she does something hardcore in order to cash out that last little bit.

Now, can you move from one track to another? Hard to say. I've never seen someone moderately legitimate sink down to doing porn, then ride that wave back up to legitimacy that they already had, but it could happen.
