>Why will the next 6 months be extremely bullish for Europe?
Portugal will have the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
>Shouldn't that be an extremely bearish sign?
Portugal is run by the most inept, corrupt and incompetend politicians who can't fix problems or plan ahead, with one single exception: when the foreigners are watching. Sure, the Presidency of the Council is more of a show position than anything else, however, the portuguese PM is a EUboo who dreams of being called up for some high up EU job. This summed with the portuguese ability to organize events and solve problems perfectly when the foreigners are watching will mean that our government will go into overdrive.
I predict that our government will solve the funds problem, the disagreements with Poland and Hungary, the Turkish issue, world hunger and maybe even get a man on Mars by May 2021.
EU economy to the moon.
