We always talk about specific stocks to trade on /smg/ but we never talk about how to min max our trades using algorithms. Post your ideas on what indicators are best to use, and what type of algorithm. I've seen a lot of you say that TA is bullshit, but this could easily add a level of certainty to some trades and price levels and if you have it on autopilot, could make you a steady passive income.

The most basic would be a keras neural network, using 50 day and 200 day moving averages.

It would be most helpful for data with a long history, such as the S&P or NASDAQ, and would not be able to able to predict rapid changes in price. I'm not expecting it to be better than an institutions algorithm.

Does anybody have a good resource with a lot of data for day trading trends? I would also appreciate it. I have some ideas for ML but I am not sure where to find a good set of data.

I like standard deviation and means.

Thing is. Some people follow one strategy, others follow other.
Which means that when several strats present the same resistance or support, it will very likely bounce there.

This is a good website for all the nasdaq stocks histories, it shows close open, high low and volume from Apple from 2010
