as i understand it, the person who wishes to borrow XRP and the person who wishes to lend XRP put Spark tokens into the flare network to create "fXRP," which is not XRP but rather a tokenized representation of XRP native to the Flare network. using smart contracts, the borrower agrees to pay back the loan and when that happens, the lender receives a commission. if either party (the lender or borrower) breaks the terms of the contract for whatever reason, the other party doesn't lose their money because they are protected by Flare.

haha. i figured someone would make a post like this, and that's half of why i mentioned it. yes, i did read the book ("Fairytale Interrupted" btw, it's a memoir of JFK jr's assistant during the George magazine days) and there are a few breadcrumbs in there for people schizo enough to be looking for them.

First, the magazine's origin story and how JFK jr came to convince the manager of a (well-connected) NY marketing/pr firm to run a magazine with him. There are a few lines about JFK having an animated conversation in his office, and it's implied that the other guy JFKjr ran George with glowed.

Then, there's a section about how "crazy, paranoid" people would write letters to the magazine or come to the office, and how the assistant dealt with the mail. The way she describes the crazies implied that some of them might have been on to something.

Finally, and most interestingly, her chronology of the events surrounding JFK jr's death is a little weird and 'coincidental.' (For those not up on the Q mythos, they basically say that JFK jr faked his death in a plane crash or something) The author/his assistant said that her AC had gone out and JFK offered to let her use his apartment for the first time ever that weekend while he was out on a trip. So, when she got the call that he had never arrived, she jumped into action- writing press releases, making statements to journalists, and taking/making calls from JFK jr's apartment, using his address book.
