Is mining ETH a good choice or is it just gonna shit itself like shitcoin?

>> No.24042821

You should invest in an ethereum mining right now before it's too late

What if I'm using my mom's internet connection and electricity?

>> No.24043981

What if my mom is paying for my electricity?
Is it worth it now or would it just fuck up my computer and not make me enough for a new one?

I'm not OP but I was going to make this thread.
I have a gaming rig with a 2070s and I pay $300 a month for room and everything else.

It's been worth it for me, electricity is cheap where I live. Even more worth it if you're getting it free. And you can undervolt your gpu and downclock it, keeping temps under 60C without affecting ETH mining hash rates, so the cards will last a few years easy.

The most cost/performance efficient cards are RX570-580s. You can lower clocks to 1150-1200 Mhz, and raise mem clocks to 2050-2100 and get good results.
