anyone else in this for the long run?
in your opinion what are the best coins to hold for the next few years, especially when this shit goes full normie

>> No.2400794

By long, meaning years, only bitcoin and XRP

>> No.2400918

You're the normie no coiner

>> No.2400942

>>2400794
Agreed

>> No.2400968

Bitcoin August fork, Memerium, maybe Bancor in near future.

>> No.2400991

in it for as long as it takes to buy an island
60%BTC
20%ETH
10%LTC
10%alts

no idea how ppl even lose money in this shit

>> No.2401023

Low-risk, long-term (by crypto standards):
>BTC
>XRP
>LTC
>(maybe) ETH

Mid-risk, long term:

>Monero
>Dash
>Waves
>Golem
>Ark
>Bancor

High-risk, long term:

Take your pick, this is the wild west after all

XRP is useless

I will never understand some people

>> No.2401105

BTC
LTC
XMR

maybe but riskier
ETH
SIA
UBQ
FCT

even riskier
ANT
XRP
XEM

I can explain but I'm sick of the shilling. Read and draw your own conclusions.

Just for fun: I'd be shocked if in 5 yrs the following are relevant:
RDD
DASH
GNT
ARK
KMD
ETC
ZEC

And I doubt it, but I'd love the trolliness of NGR being a relevant coin in 5 yrs.

It wasn't really in order

>> No.2401166

My strategy is to profit off alt-coins for a bit and then when I have a sizeable amount take a more long term orientation

Coins I'm expecting big short/medium term (3-6 months) gains from that I think are currently undervalued:
>STRAT - should be 40000
>XEM - should be 8200
>SYS - should be 9000-12000
>AUGUR - not sure but like future prospects, strong fundamentals
>LISK - not sure but like future prospects, strong fundamentals
>BCN - should be 140-150

Coins I'm going to take a long position on and hold indefinitely, perhaps selling a few if I need cash flow for a fiat purchase:
>BTC (20% weighting)
>XRP (20% weighting)
>SIA (10% weighting)
>ETH (50% weighting)

it was implied when you said (maybe) eth but not (maybe) ltc

I have coins though you fucking faggot, I just want people's opinions

Everything's a maybe m8

I could just see ETH dipping really hard at any given moment

>> No.2401252

No risk : eth - btc
Some risk : WAVES, BITSHARES
Others : STEEM

That's my stuff for the long term. I'm looking for some other real coins with serious devs and unique uses.

RDD will be one of the major normie adoption coins when Redd-ID launches
latest dev update vid here: https://youtu.be/aEJTNZ6FCPc
Redd-ID is a chrome extension that normies can install instead of having to fuck with downloading a wallet and sync'ing a block chain, the extension does all that for them.
then they can micro-tip on social media sites to content creators via usernames, then those creators can get tips.
but the real market is in camsites.
just had a bear raid, and is in recovery. now is probably the best time to buy / last time it will be in this price range.
not just another shitty meme coin, but real tech hitting a niche market in the cryptosphere.

this is the only thing that can realistically ensure i can survive once i have to retire. i remember when lite coin and erethium were being shilled convinced myself it would be too complicated to learn crypto. Can anyone suggest a good resource that has information on the basics of buying and trading crypto?

Just look up "crypto for beginners" or "how to buy bitcoins". Or even just go on the bitcoin subreddit on reddit, there should be a guide linked to the right of your screen.
