Because RIDE fell from like $30 to $12 while PLTR rose from $9.50 to $18. There's a big difference. People bagholding RIDE are just breaking even again. I say this as someone with RIDE, WKHS, and PLTR in my portfolio. I'm not excited about RIDE because it pissed me off the first time it fell off a cliff for no fucking reason really. I did purchase some of its dip but the runoff shook my confidence in it so I didn't buy much. If you weren't already in RIDE and got your entry at the bottom, you'd be celebrating, but I doubt there's many people in this general that meet that criteria. There are however many of us who got into PLTR on its listing so we're all riding the same wave. Context is important. While I regret not getting more RIDE and WKHS when they were still in the teens (I did get SOME more but not nearly as much as I'd have liked) I can say that they left too much of a bitter taste in my mouth for me to celebrate their recent success. These two stocks should have been crabbing at $25 around now, not dipping to lows they haven't seen in months
