Before bitcoin and the internet became a thing, there was pogs & slammers? Anyone collect these in the 90s, if you were even born yet? I remember trading a few rare ones for $xx-$xxx & vidya in the mid 90s. They once started to be used as a currency/bartering tool for drugs/games/food at least in my neighborhood. Kids went crazy for them. Anyone remember when rare beanie babies sold for $xxxx? or people use to collect baseball/basketball/football cards and sell them for top dollar? or even rare coins? Those were the days...
