So a thread for my fellow young white male corporate drones. Have you experienced any work related discrimination this year just because you where born as a white male?

I've missed a promotion (it went to a female without any experience and domain knowledge).

Yes, it's fairly common place, however it's rare for it to become an HR issue as it simply paints a target on your back.

In my experience, your best bet is to befriend minority/female superiors, and ride their coattails upwards. They ironically don't need to consider diversity points as much in their decision making, and unless they are blatantly racist, will appreciate your abilities. That is assuming you are actually competent and cooperative.
