I feel conflicted on this as someone who wage slaved in a company which went from 26 employees to more than 1000.
It became shit almost instantly and all the new employees have the NPC parasite mindset. We got a lot more administrative rules and more useless management for inefficiency.
This is the right way to bankrupt a company...

He will get the same result if he does this without putting a lot of thoughts into it.
Who is going to pay for the 500 employees by the way?

You will get the opposite.
Half of his previous hires are from /biz/ when he was still unknown.
Now that he is using his reputation to recruit new workers he is going to attract more incompetent and narcissistic people who don't come from here.
Being unknown was a blessing in a way as it allowed only those who believed in his project to join it before.

He has a strong interest in systems and blockchain supported smart contracts.
Usually this means not liking people that much and having some level of autism.
He may also be blinded by his own mindset and think that everyone thinks like him.

He already recruited a parasite dev who tried to criticize the work of a senior dev.
This shows he is not as good as he thinks at recognizing people's nature or already gave up the recruitment process to someone who is incompetent.
He is not a god and can make mistakes after all.

He is not using smart contracts to recruit his employees after all and runs the same risks as the system he is trying to improve...

As an investor I have to be critical of what the CEO of the company I invested into is doing.
Beliefs are the domain of a religion not of sound financial systems.
The more complex a system is the easier it is to break something.
No man alone can control this amount of complexity.
The more things you add to control and manage the harder it will be to keep the efforts going in the right direction.
If he makes a mistake showing he doesn't have the ability to manage a bigger company I will have to reduce my investment risks.

Bezos has a different talent than Sergey.
Bezos is good at optimizing a system quickly and finding its flaws which allowed him to make Amazon the best platform and kill his competitors.

Sergey only has his strong moral values, some knowledge on psychology and some form of autism and/or perfectionism which he uses to create a strong network effect around Chainlink by putting his customer desires to the front with a clear vision of his project and not abusing his power to cause someone to dislike him. This will work on the short and middle term, but on the longer term what he will have to do is not manage his oracle network but his company and team. This is completely different skill set and he seems to be ill equipped for this if he doesn't find someone to fill in for this lack in competence or spends a lot of time to learn how to do it.

startups are a meme including chainlink

oracle, microsoft, apple, google, amazon and facebook probably were all subsidized by the cia venture arm. all these companies had something very similar going on - early market domination, good sales from the get go. almost too good to be true, or very very unlikely to fail. they CIA probably used their recourses and intelligence to simulate and test out their specific business strategies, and how likely the consumer would adopt it. with fb the newest founded in 2004, its 16 years ago since a ''startup'' actually made it to somewhere.
chainlink wont even come near to the status of late founded meme startups like pinterest, uber or quora which are all overvalued junk anyways

When trying to understand how someone thinks the only think you can objectively look at is his actions.
A psychopath will adhere to all necessary rules and manipulate his way into power while lying to everyone.
A code of conduct is completely inefficient at recognizing and filtering narcissists and psychopaths who are attracted to power and success. You need to test their behavior and they can hide their intent to most of the persons on this earth.
The reason we are living in the current hellish system is because there are so few of us who have the ability to see truth and manipulators.

Sergey needs to completely review his recruitment system if he wants to avoid this issue at least for a few more years.
Unfortunately the only way I see to do this is by finding a few people with morals and a strong empathy to detect negative people and/or making them go through a psychological test made by experienced professionals.

Keeping proofs of their actions for accountability is unfortunately the only way to get some results in our society.
But they are good at hiding in this world.
Only someone with empathy and experience of one can recognize them, but that doesn't mean others will listen to you as they spent all their time and energy to learn to manipulate others.

The best you can do is to understand their behavior and goals.
You can also look up the strategies of a manipulator.
I don't know of books specifically written on psychopaths, but it's possible to learn more generally manipulation.
A big difference between psychopaths and narcissist is that they don't have emotions.
They only have a very weak sense of fear coming from the lack of power.
A psychopath will want to have power to exert on others or on defenseless animals to feel good, because it's the only emotion they can get.
A narcissist has a very weak ego and needs constant gratification and acceptation to reduce his insecurities. He will act in a vengeful manner to someone who weakens his social standing and makes him see his incompetence and weakness. What he wants to get is recognition and social status. However he won't torture animals or human beings for pleasure without the need of vengeance, because he still feels emotions.

If we manage to get back the world from them we will have to create an education course to torture children and expose them to psychopaths to make them understand evil exists.

thank you bro. Unfortunately, there will always be an abundance of psychopaths, given there's 1% of them in any population. What's even more depressing is that business world is especially enticing to them, so the percentage is higher then. While I think that everyone should be educated on the matter, it seems depressing to have to teach little kids on this nasty, pervasive kind of evil.

YOU ARE PAYING THEIR SALARIES AND OWN 0 EQUITY IN THE COMPANY. In the real world this is called raising equity through dilution and the degree to which they are doing it is creating whales that have lower exit points than you do, so it is toxic financing. This is not a GO ALL IN FAGGOT situation. There will be plenty of time when they are done this shit and staking is announced. Buy then. Ride it up. None of the grief.

Link has maintained this parabolic trend despite BTCs movements. BTC should be going up from here as well, so I don’t anticipate some large sell off that would break links trend upward.

The largest peaks for link/BTC have been 3-4x the trend line. If the full cycle peaks December ‘21/Jan ‘22, and link has a peak at that time as I expect all alt coins to do, that would put link around 1 mil SATs. For $1000 link BTC would need to be $100k
