It's a cool concept but the problem is that people don't want to earn some obscure cryptocurrency. I tried Brave with rewards on for a few months and only gathered around $3 during that time (which is now down to $2).
That doesn't even cover a third of the transaction fee it would take to withdraw the funds to an ETH wallet, let alone trade them for a currency that I can actually use.

Once RGB is out for the Lightning network it's over for a lot of these shitcoins.
Ethereum today is nothing but a bloated testing ground for BTC.
