- don't go to law school unless you can get into a top 15% school and know you can commit to it

- if done right your degree will teach you how to distill small amounts of critical information from vast amounts of irrelevant information quickly. This is a vital skill in corporate world and in entrepreneurship.

- you will need to project an outward image of confidence and competence because you don't have hard skills to justify your autism. This isn't that actually that hard just don't be a pussy

Talk to tons of girls on dating apps, I honestly get more attention now that I am 32 then I ever did in my twenties. Most of the profiles are all the same and dating is a chore. Went on one last week where she ghosted me the next day. Was only somehow interested in continuing to talk to her so moved on pretty quick.

Other than that angling for a career change next year maybe. I hope to settle down but only with a good woman. Been talking to a peruvian girl for a while on Tinder seems nice but can't travel. Got sober after being a crippling alcoholic one year ago. Spent all of this year trying to "catch up" at 30 financially. Have recovered OK but I feel like there's a huge asterisk next to that and I have to justify why I only have 5k in savings/crypto with the fact that I'm a recovering addict. Finally took the plunge to invest into crypto right now and have about 2k USD spread out between ETH/LINK and some random shitcoins that I hope moon (DOT, RLC, RPL, STA, CEL, etc.) but I feel like I'm constantly playing catch up by getting into this game so late.

At least I'm sober now and am healthy, but that thread going around with the infographic of how much the average person has saved up at each age group makes me feel like shit, frens. But I guess it's all a give and take - I have a lot of blessings in my life that richer people my age may not.

I'm surrounded by normie friends, and I've tried to get them into this stuff but they just don't get it. Now that I'm in the process of making it with LINK, I feel even more alone than ever.

On top of that, I bet all my cash + some cash I borrowed on my line of credit on Trump to win. Even though the bets haven't paid out yet (Thank God) and I believe Trump will prevail, I was (foolishly) banking on a nice little windfall about now. I'm 20. A few months ago I quit my well paying and pretty easy job, took out a personal loan of 7k, and moved across the country to a low population state (low cost of living, no distractions) to start my business. I was doing well and actually broke even up until over a month ago. I foolishly scaled my ad campaigns too quickly because I was generating leads at a great price. Long story short, they were unqualified leads and now I have very little money left to even live off of. I maxed out multiple credit cards on trump winning key swing states. I was able to cash out on FL and NC on election night. The next day the prices dropped because we thought he had lost. I put my winning back into the undeclared swing states and still have very little to live off of.

Basically I'm at this weird spot where if I can just survive until they call it for trump I'll make 24k but I don't know when that will be. *Maybe* I can do another month before I have to find a job and wagecuck but then I don't want to have to work once I have my winnings.

there's a story of a sage who gets a group of people in his house wanting him to solve their problems.

they're all yelling over eachother about their problems, so sage tells em to be quiet, sit in a circle and write their biggest problem they want solved down, he puts their problems in a basket, shakes it and then passes the basket around for the people to take a random problem from the group.

if they wanted their problem back afterwards they could get it. the group read eachother's problems, got up, thanked the master, and went home.

moral of the story is, relax, you don't realize it but you're safe right now, safer than many people with much worse problems. it's already going pretty good if you can practice a good ol breath of gratefulness

My dad died two years ago so I have a 500k apt 200k cash and 30k in link. I had spent 160k cash since he died, but my apartment was only worth 300k when i bought it. I guess I can feel grateful everything I spent was recovered through the apt value. I have a beautiful girlfriend and we're in love.

I'm healthy and pretty happy most of the time. I do have sad nights where I think too much about the impending fear of spending my cash in the next 4 years and not making enough. I'm confident about link though. I feel bad when I compare a possible 30 yr old version of me to my classmates who are already graduated and working. Then again, I have it pretty good so far. the trick is not to worry.

I also seriously cannot overstate my last point. When I was new here it was like sensory overload and felt like I had to rush into buying these new coins before they mooned. Every single one of them has fallen into irrelevancy or didn’t make it. Stick to ETH and BTC

I keep doubting myself. My dad won't say it, but at times, I feel he's disappointed in me. The other day when I was talking to him about taking so long to graduate college, he mentioned that he didn't care if I still lived with my parents until I was 35 (24 now). He's too old to be worried this much about me. I want to support myself and let the man rest. But I keep struggling with my classes, I have few friends, and I suck at investing. I might just stick everything into a boomer portfolio of ETFs, but that feels like giving up. I want to show that I can manage and invest my own money, not rely on others who may not be there for me in the long run. At least my PMs stack is growing.

I hate myself every growing day. This pandemic lockdown has taken a toll on how I view myself and past everything is just a blur anon.

I thought at first I was going to make money through an oil/gas rebound and then that fell flat. Doesn't help that I am a recent grad and have started to regret my degree (liberal arts) as my family for the college idea. In the end it is a business not an actual source of employment.

This coupled with biden's new lockdown plan has me at the end of my rope anons.

I honestly dont know were to go from here, if it would be possible for me to start picking up a trade as right now I'm a part time wagie.

hey man, I was in the literal exact same position as you at the start of this year except for me it wasn't alcohol, it was opiates. This year has been the worst of my life and also the best of my life. Being smacked with reality and how much you completely fucked up over the past decade is the most brutal feeling ever. I was thinking about jumping off the local cliff etc. But you CAN turn it around. Put ALL your focus on finance right now. I know that feel anon. I'm 23 and most likely graduating at 24 (end of this year). I've caused him a lot of stress due to fucking up school 4 years ago and he discovered that I smoked weed which really hurt him inside (I live in a very conservative family). And a lot of other fucked up shit which is too long to mention. I managed to stop smoking weed immediately and i'm on schedule in terms of making sure I graduate. Also 10k LINK stack, ironically managed to get it by fucking up school 3 years ago and browsing /biz/ to kill time.

Long story short: I have dissappointed my parents several times and now they are proud of me. Its never too late anon, making your parents proud is honestly the best feeling in the world. Make sure that is your endgoal.

And for the other anons who's parents already died and are stuck: make sure you make them proud, you will see them at the end of the road.

My friend from high school killed himself last week. This guy was one of the coolest kids in high school. He skated and played in a hardcore band and was really fucking handsome and got with tons of girls. I was always secretly jealous of him and his swag but we still kicked it all the time and had tons of crazy times together smoking weed and experimenting with psychedelics.
