Like if I'm drunk texting, sending nudes, cheating on a spouse on social media, or buying drugs... is it like some doctor-patient / attorney-client privilege thing where they go "bruh don't judge my personal life, I just pay you to protect me".

Imo Disney Puts - I think there is a reason they have been desperately trying to tie Disney+ to all sorts of entertainment packages.. I think they will disappoint in streaming services (and in general they are being hurt by movie theaters not being open) There have been no big blockbusters = less new merchandise sold; Disney in California is still closed with little guidance (only Florida is open, but very limited)
Parents are holding off on having children as well ever since coronavirus, so less "Disney baby" demand
I think they will also issue poor guidance on top of the bad earnings..

Has to be a reason for a big dump day, gridlock isn't one of them. Trump gone volatility is already reducing, Friday was the first time I've seen a crab day that wasn't fucking violent.

Market pumped because the sell off beforehand was too violent and markets got a pretty good result from the election, minus the Art of Cope spamming his Twitter ofc. Was largely ignored by markets interestingly.

Profit-taking, maybe, but think that already happened on Friday, sell the news, very possibly?

Although it could turn out to be a triple top, it hasn't yet 'failed' - after the double top, if it goes to rise, no matter what it will look like a triple top until it passes either way - if it does sell-off, then 100% triple top and be prepared for big dumps.. just right now it looks like it could go either way (to me)

Depends on how you define a dump. Iny my eyes it has to be a number above 1% at the close. See a lot of people see any red close as a dump, which isn't really true since that's usually just individual draggers on the performance of the index.

My guess is, we will see a light red day with profit taking. Its Lame Duck Trump who could cause unsettling news on the weeks to come.

It's possible they get more subscribers with all the crazy advertising they have put into the new packages that include Disney+.. but to me, it has seemed like the move of desperation; the advertising / marketing hasn't seemed 'organic' - seems very forced and panicked, like they haven't been growing in subscriptions

There were a lot of people who got subscriptions for 'free' months & months ago, where the time has passed for their sub to run out (and not be renewed)
The target demographic for the Mandalorian too are the people most likely to pirate / stream it (imo)
I could be very wrong though, and they produce great numbers in subscription growth [at the cost of the absurd marketing campaign they've been at for the past few months..]

I think most people trade/gamble here because they have little other way to make good income in today's wage slave environments.

Luckily, I run my own business, so I can just put money into safe funds/vanguard and watch it grow. But 7-10% PA (before fees/taxes) isn't enough for most anons here, that's like 400-500 bucks at most for some 4-figs here.

However, as a 6-fig, I don't got the balls to YOLO and FOMO into short trades and chink. God I'd rope myself if I got it wrong.

Burry's just a savant vulture and frankly not helpful to GME at all, although he did help with pushing for share buybacks (100m -> 65m, took a while to start showing its effects but it certainly is starting to feel painful as fuck for short sellers; 2013 market cap peak would translate to ~$100/share now)

Cohen entered Gamestop from 2019 and this has been planned out from the start which makes sense now in hindsight how Sherman was being confident/smug about a bounce in "11 months" during one of the calls whenever it was again
Just too bad for GME that covid had to stunt their turnaround, but good for us that the opportunity remained under the radar long enough for us to jump in from $6

targeted ads and consumer information are the two most obvious. What was that company last year that did basically the exact same thing? Oxford analytics? Harvard analytics? Something like that.

Tell your family to fuck off. It's your life. If you let someone else dictate your actions you aren't living your own life, you are living someone else's. To expand: how you spend your time is how you spend your life; if you let someone else decide how you spend your time you are letting them decide your life. Again, tell them to fuck off. If you crash and die, at least it will be by your own hand.

If no, then there's very little they can do..
I can understand wanting to respect their wishes / 'honor thy mother and thy father' - but at the end of the day, it's your life, and you have to make your own decisions on what makes you happy
I would recommend having an open discussion with them about it, that you're aware of the risks, but that for you it makes your life more full and feel 'worth living'. Argue it from a "better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all" - it's harder to argue against principles of freedom / living life to the fullest than it is to argue about safety
I would also try to focus more on soothing your mother's nerves than trying to come at her with logic / facts about general aviation crashes.. it's an emotional argument, not a logical one

>congress won't let him
1. He could "just do it", congress be damned, and what are they going to do when his new court rules his actions to be constitutional? A constitutional amendment? Like they have the numbers...
2. And speaking of the numbers, the only silver lining in this election for the Rs is that they gained seats in the congress. What nobody says is that it's still pretty damn close to a 50/50 split in both the house and the senate. It wouldn't take much at all for the Ds to take a majority, especially if the demographic shifts continue.
>the SC won't let him
Now this is a battle I want to see. His new members will all say, yeah, the prez can do this, and some of the existing members will agree. But then can his packed appointees actually legally make a decision? It'll be one for the history books that's for sure.

OTOH, Biden will probably play it safe and not try any of these things.

Basically, the key difference between a mutual fund and an ETF is that a mutual fund is actively managed and an ETF is not (there are passive mutual funds too)
BST is run by BlackRock Capital (the largest fund manager on Earth) so they have the best data access out of any fund / cutting edge technologies, constantly investing in new tech to improve their returns. They sell covered calls against the stocks within the BST portfolio (ETFs don't do this) adding extra gains, they also trade the stocks within the portfolio / change their weights frequently (an ETF doesn't trade as often) so all the active management does result in higher fees, but the gains make up for it / imo it's worth 1.32% to have Tony Kim & BlackRock working the market for you
You won't go wrong just going VOO / QQQM (lowest fee ETFs) either, just BST / BSTZ may perform slightly better
BST does perform better than BSTZ, even if you were to reinvest 100% of dividends back into BSTZ - just depends on whether you care more about dividends or growth

I guess it depends.. real estate prices will rise and increase their value but if the tenants can't pay rent they could become vulnerable

BST vs ARKK, let's look at the top holdings [this is how your thought process should go]
(data from August 31)
>BST
Apple 4.80%
Microsoft 4.34%
Amazon 3.72%
Ali Baba 3.16%
Mastercard 2.55%
Ten Cent Holdings 2.55%
Alphabet Inc 2.46% (Google)
Twilio Inc 2.35%
Square Inc 2.21%
Advanced Micro Devices 2.09%
>ARKK
(data from 11/6/20)
9.38% Tesla
7.11% Invitae Corp
6.16% Square Inc
5.90% Roku Inc
5.38% Crispr Therapeutics
3.51% Zillow Group
3.49% Teladoc Health Inc
3.16% Proto Labs Inc
3.12% Slack Technologies
2.93% Spotify
Imo.. the Tesla tulip mania will struggle now that there are Chinese substitutes available. For this reason alone, BST may outperform.
ARK is more oriented for 'game-changing' technologies, while I would say BST is more 'historic winners' technologies
They're both good - I just personally am staying away from Tesla for the time being

here in the UK there is a ban on sales of combustion engine cars by 2035 and I know California has passed the same law and Europe is thinking of passing a similar law. We are just at the beginning and it's not just EV cars but charging infastructure, batteries, self-driving technology, etc

A. Buy GME.

B. If you're only 15 hours in, do you have sufficient capital to comfortably see yourself through to whichever license / rating you're looking for? If so, obviously keep doing it - being airborne is one of life's greatest joys, be it pootling about in a Cessna or being catapulted off a carrier. If you've got the itch, don't let anyone stop you scratching it.

If you don't have the capital now, and that's the concern, take a break until you do. You can't learn to fly in sporadic bursts - currency, competency and spare mental capacity require consistent exposure to the airborne environment. If you learn in bouts it will take you longer and you'll always be behind the curve. Sad, but the best thing to do would be to wait until you can do it without any interruptions.

Or, depending on your situation and ambitions, consider an airline scholarship or the military. All I'll say is it's very difficult to break the sound barrier as a civilian.

Also Fly Navy!
