I wear contact lenses almost everyday. If I have a car accident or something happens to me and I go to the hospital the doctors would remove my lenses?? Or I would enter a coma with the lenses on my eyes??

I think about this almost everyday

this is actually one of the most common causes of blindness in the US for those between 18 and 34. doctors are supposed to remove them but often miss them, especially if they think paramedics have already checked. very common basis for malpractice suits too.

what ends up happening, btw, is your eyes essentially "fuse" with the contacts, which ultimately leads to infection - only "cure" (if you can call it that) is scooping out your eyes

no it's not kek. how do you idiots always come up with so much bullshit. it's also very unlikely that a coma patient isn't checked for foreign objects in their eyes.

I got my eyes lasered last year after wearing contacts for a decade, every time I stumbled home pissed for the first few months I would spend 20 minutes habitually poking my eyes to try remove them.

Is it possible to train your eyes to not need glasses or contact lenses or is it bullshit?

I'm farsighted btw and have been wearing glasses since I was like 5.

this sounds like some bait but i think you guys missed the point, 'supposed to remove them but often miss them'
This sounds way to accurate, and could very well happen. Although, coma is rare and it's more rare that you go into a coma with no family or friends to tell the doctors. But if the doctors forget then people will be like "you should thank them that they saved your life", meanwhile they just did their job with a poor performance.
