Colin Powell endorsed Biden too. Obama tried to gay op Iran with his Iran deal and it failed. Trump's sanctions are bringing Iran to the brink of collapse though. Their currency lost 50% of it's value this year. Supposedly it's down 300% since the revolution. I only know one Iranian, but according to him, "it's getting bad" over there. Also, apparently covid is cucking them hard too. They're also not as educated as westerners. A bunch of them died from Methanol poisoning because some bootleggers sold them industrial alcohol as a covid cure.

It's kind of sad really, Persia has a rich culture and Farsi is actually a really nice language.

Ok reddit.

Judging from how the Obama administration looked at things, we were this close to outright invading Syria and permanently destabilizing the other half of the levant. His administration's stance on Russia also failed to acknowledge that we have a fundamental conflict of interests
and provided no means to properly mitigate that aside from the "reset" which, considering how hard Bill Clinton fucked over Boris Yeltsin after the fall of the USSR, allowed an already skeptical regime to outright take advantage of our naivety. Not bothering to address the Chinese Question (particularly theft of intellectual property and fucking with international shipping lanes through island building in the south China seas), as well as unilaterally deciding to reduce our nuclear weapons stockpiles spooked the shit out of our allies in the Indo-Pacific and well likely result in Japan, South Korea, and probably Taiwan to pursue developing their own nuclear weapons as American Deterrence seems to be permanently fucked now.
At the very least the Trump Administration did a passable job trying to deal with these things, and I have no confidence that a Biden administration will do much better. Except this time with more taxes and more institutional erosion.

Trump doesn't want to intervene at all.
This is a double edged sword.
The common narrative is that the US muddles in others affairs and kills everyone and destroys everything. Not surprising considering our past history. The US also guarantees free unhindered trade via military/humanitarian protections. Many countries depend on the US for support, without it they will suffer "population corrections".

Trumps foreign policies were good economically for the US, at the expense of the rest of the world as Bretton Woods is finally collapsing. Take that however you will.

They declassified a phone conversation awhile ago where Yeltsin was essentially begging the U.S. not to Versailles the shit out of Russia. The media at the time portrayed Yeltsin's relationship with Clinton as "warm and friendly", but really it was more like "please don't fuck our shit up any more than it is", which we promptly did by trying to expand Nato into the Ukraine and Georgia, directly prompting the subsequent Putin regime into invading Georgia and splitting off Abkhazia and Ossetia (making it so Georgia can no longer join Nato because it no longer controls its full territory) and later doing the same with Ukraine and the Crimea.

Ironically, diplomacy by Henry Kissinger is a good read and will better help you understand why our current relationship with China is the way it is. Right now, I'm listening to an audio book by John Toland that is biography on Hitler that's taking me a while to go through since its almost 50 hours long, but is certainly the best that I've encountered so far. There's a point in it where they're talking about the assassination of the Austrian PM (or whatever they call it there) by Austrian national socialist party and it was fucking hilarious to hear Mussolini kvetching about it saying "it's like the Roman Empire all over again with these Germanic barbarians".

It is hard to swallow that shit is going down because of stuff he feels uncomfortable about, I know he is a Harvard academic, but where is his data analysis to actually back his claims? How can he state any kind o shit and be taken seriously without data? I am from STEAM academics, he would be laughed at if he spoke at my institute. We social inequalities because of poor wealth distribution, not because people aren't looking for jobs, or because feminism. That looks silly.

We have enough technology to just use robots for everything and the whole population to be composed of artists, philosophers, scientists and politicians, just like in Athens, but now with slave robots. The second one gives a refresher on effect sizes as they pertain to the data fairly early on if you need a refresher.
>We social inequalities because of poor wealth distribution
That's also just as large of a claim, and one that average person takes as axiomatic these days. Don't draw your conclusions first and then try to prove them. That's the exact opposite of how science is done. Just as a warning, there is a ton of disinfo posted about this guy by people who have never even read either of these or looked at the data presented, so I don't recommend cutting corners just reading articles about the books to form your opinions as you will be coming from a warped perspective on reality.

It doesn't sound like you're into trying to mitigate the fact that we have fundamental conflicts of interests with Russia (that being that they want a sphere influence to be able to do what they want with their neighbors, and we don't want them to oppress innocent people who deserve better), but instead would rather see that we turn the entirety of the Russian Federation (a declining power with thousands of nuclear weapons whose stated military doctrine is to fire every single one of them if they start losing a great power war) into an irradiated smoking crater. If that's not what you want, then try to articulate something better than just reeeeeing about the fact that there are countries out there that dislike U.S. hegemony and do what they can against it.

more like i have more respect for hitler than for trump. you know i thought trump was gonna be the better option too before his election i thought he was a harmless fool. i thought hillary was the satans whore literally.
how foolish i was. trump managed to mount up staggering amount of damage with his idiocy and incompetence on the global scale.

at this point i would say even hilalry would have done a better job and i may pick hitler before hillary.

no it's not. ask the ukrainians or the syrians where putin is having his fun because the fat retard let him.

Americans don't give a shit about foreign policy, they don't' care about wars that don't impact them. They care about lockdowns, riots and being able to send their kids to school.

Dems played it better.

well genetically speaking diverse populations are more robust.
that said i'm very much against racemixing because then we would lose the variety. everyone would just be a mutt.
it is however a basic human right to be allowed to seek happiness even if it means moving when you have to.
so it's complicated.
also the point is not getting involved "everywhere" that sounds random and pointless. it is to oppose russian and chink imperialism on more than equal terms. for world peace. and yes i believe the other nato states should get their shit together too.
eu should have a military force comparable to the us in expense readiness and capability.
