Get some camping gear and go set up a little site on the street of the house you posted. Sleep and live outside. Gentrification will come as humanity advances. It happens in every big city. But LA is probably one of the few places in the world that might be immune to this, along with paris and london.

Honestly though just move to a rural area in utah or wyoming or something and buy your own land & build a property on it. It'll cost you much less money, your neighbours will all be real nice and when you look out your window you'll see trees grass & fields instead of concrete & crackwhores.
