BTC's break out all but guarantees another major run up for the altcoin markets. Old /biz/ knows. This is the time to take calculated positions in the most promising altcoins for the chance to experience 100x returns or more.
Over the next few weeks, alts may take a hit and open up one of the most optimal buying opportunities that crypto provides.

If you had the chance to invest, at the ground floor, in something that's like UNI but considerably more advanced, sophisticated, sustainable, and ultimately bullish.. Would you?

XSN is your chance. Much more advanced than the competition and with much more room to grow and be discovered, both within and outside the crypto industry.

I've got 3 masternodes, thinking of getting a 4th, but I'm averse to buying bitcoin now that it's at its highest point since 2018. Do you guys think I should wait before getting bitcoin/getting my fourth masternode or not? How long until the true bitcoin bullrun and when do you expect the altcoin/stakenet run? Probably impossible to answer but yeah, I'm probably feeling a lot of fomo right now and I know it's not good.

Do you think BTC is on its way to eclipsing its old ATH? Maybe there will be another dip before then, but the window appears to be closing.
At this very moment and into the rest of Q4, I think it'd definitely be riskier to get into just alts than just hold BTC. It has the better odds of performing in the short-term, whereas alts have a tremendous potential a short while after that.

The returns on one MN are small right now. The best thing to do with the rewards is invest them into more MNs.
Point being to sell nothing when it's dirt cheap and then make nice returns - even on 1 - when XSN takes off.

If the previous post-halving periods are to go after, then yes, I believe it's coming. But I'm really unsure if this rally right now is the signal for it.

Either way, may I ask what you would've done? I'm basically only holding XSN right now, and I'm not planning on converting them into btc. I've essentially got an additional $1,2k to put either into btc or an alt, then I'm bust.

Wait for a btc dip -> buy btc -> hold until it goes parabolic and then enter xsn/other altcoin?

Sorry, a bit off-topic but eh.

Worst case scenario I think it could capitulate into 500-650 sat territory if BTC soars to $20k+
Now seems more like a really good time to sit on BTC and attack promising alts like XSN when the moment comes rather than taking the chance to go deep in one alt.

It could very well happen. BTC hasn't spent a whole lot of time in this range.
Hard to tell when exactly the storm comes, but the sky is dark gray.

I wish. Looks like price aggregators got fouled up and they were only reporting the price on Beaxy, where it was 2 cents and had $8 in 24h volume.
Everyone uses Livecoin or (increasingly) the DEX.

Well guys, do you expect BTC to do new ATHs and altcoin capitulation in Q4/Q1? Or do you think there will be a correction/sideways movement before 20k? ETH just started moving higher without BTC and alts like YFI pump again.
Just wondering if it'll be best to ride that BTC train for a while and hook up on new MNs when capitulstion is in or just now

>> No.23765657

>>23765010
BTC is still at around 75-80% of its ATH
When it pumped like this in late 2016, alts got hit pretty hard when BTC bridged the gap back to >$1k.
It does look like people are getting bullish on alts again.

When Stakenet DEX went into open beta in late August, it was only doing a few hundred dollars a day in trading volume.
Since then, there have been a lot of tests around increased liquidity to ensure that it can handle the heavy throughput it needs to and do so with high success rates. Lately, it's been doing about $20k/24h in XSN/BTC.
ETH private key integration takes it a step further. BTC/ETH swaps have been in stress-testing for months.
Once these two things - liquidity and ETH privkey integration - are firmly in place and secure, it will only be a matter of adding additional coin pairs.
Any Lightning Network or ERC compatible will be able to be added with relative ease.
Ideally, LINK and a USD stablecoin will be among the first ERCs added to the DEX.

There's been a high demand for Monero too. There's been talks among the XMR devs about adding an L2 solution. In the meantime, xmr.to supports LN BTC so you can send funds there and swap it into Monero rather quickly.

At one point, there were talks of integrating EOS as well, but that would likely be the furthest back on the backburner.
