250 acres with lake access as close to a comfii city with shit to do as possible. Then build a huge house like 3,000sqft and put a lap pool, gym, and spa in the basement. What do rich people even do anyway? I'm guessing at some point they're just sitting on it. When you can have anything you start to realize there's not much you really care about or want. Only rich guys I know have just one interest. One guy races his car every week, other owns a hunting club and does that, another just does nothing but watch TV all day. They don't seem terribly different from us all things considered. It's their kids that do the Instagram vacation bullshit.

The hunting club guy is probably the happiest guy I know. Got out of law and chills every day with his friends, a lot of the club is timber tracts too so he has a steady cash flow just from timed harvests. Fucker owns so much land there's always plenty of good hunting spots even after cutting. Boat, bigass pickup, atvs, lots of guns and tackle, nice house, nice lodge, wife and kids. What more could a person want in life? And you'd think he'd be a tough man to shop for gifts but no. Give him a bottle of whiskey and you made his night. Having money let's you enjoy the simple things in life to their fullest. It'd be a lie to say he wasn't an inspiration for me. Race car guy can be a little on edge but that's because he's a cfp and comes from oil money. One blowup and that career is gone. I imagine he'll mellow out a lot once retired. No clue why he's still working but he's made his own prison there. Assuming it's not all fake wealth and debts he's still sitting high on the hog. At least he has inheritance as a backup plan.
