I have mi comfy AVAX blanket that shields me from being poor and DOT pedophiles, very effective.

Faster transactions at least, AVAX also supports ETH so...

Token dropped from $5 to $3.6

And it will drop further with this insane inflation

The unlock of ICO buyers and VC investors will begin in december, there is only 24.5M tokens in circulation with 720M total supply

This is a HUGE redflag for the price of AVAX because the fully diluted marketcap is too high and inflation will result in a constant sell side pressure

ICO investors with their AVAX locked don't want the price to dump before they can sell for the private investor and public sale token unlock of December

They make multiples threads here praying for the price to stay at the same level

There are plenty of nodes on avalanche because ICO option A buyers can't sell their tokens Yet, so they HAVE to stake their token

once their token get unlocked, this will result in a sell side pressure and LESS NODES on the avalanche network.

Most AVAX will be staked on nodes or delegated to nodes as is already the case.

KEK first of all more than 100 nodes are from avalabs. Most nodes come from people who got 2000 avax for free + those who bought at 0.5$. nobody's dumb enough to pay 8000$ to run a node

>KEK first of all more than 100 nodes are from avalabs.
and it makes them profits, and? I myself already run 2 nodes and looking to scale it up.
>nobody's dumb enough to pay 8000$ to run a node
the returns are great and the risk is really low. 8000 dollars isnt that much.

as long as your node has 60% uptime you get your reward at the end of the staking period.
+ there is huge potential in the future by validating other subnets (like athereum).

You dont pay $8,000 just to run a node, you invest and collect interest. You act like people run nodes for solidarity, no you fucking dumb ass its to make money.

Your understanding of crypto cycles is so fucking bad. Coins ALWAYS dump after an ICO, the fact that its still 7X the ICO is incredible. Are your hands so weak that you cant stand a tiny little drop from 10X profits? Youre never gonna make it anon until you educate your dumb ass

>> No.23693011

> 12% APY rewards
price volatility is nothing new in crypto. if you werent a newfag you would know this.
the point is the rewards are as good as guaranteed, its super low risk passive income to run a node.

Here are some updates for you guys on AVAX from the insider:

>We are now onboarding projects, including decentralized exchanges, to the Avalanche ecosystem. We will be going live shortly with key infrastructure partners, such as Chainlink, that are vital components for Ethereum developers to build on Avalanche.

>...Completed a successful audit of the Avalanche Wallet by elite cybersecurity firm, Halborn. We have also awarded a grant to Tesseract to build a software development kit enabling iOS development on Avalanche. Finally, we completed integration with Magic to bring password-less login software to applications launching on the network. Magic has been used by over 6,500 developers, including established DeFi brands like Uniswap, Aave, and Augur.

>A key component of that shift is a bridge connecting Avalanche to Ethereum and the universe of assets on its network. Alpha testing of this bridge is beginning soon with partner firms playing a key role as operators. This phase will run for a few weeks to ensure the seamless migration of assets and tokens between the two networks before deploying on Mainnet.

>When deployed, this bridge will open the door for the biggest brands in DeFi to go from prospect to production on Avalanche, enabling any ERC-20 or ERC-721, and even native ETH, to be wrapped. We are working with two of the top five stablecoins by market cap as our first partners to use the bridge.

>We're continuing to push for more exchange listings and integrations to reach new user segments and liquidity. We anticipate having the first access point for U.S. users to go live in November.

>We are well-positioned to end the year in a position of strength. In the coming weeks, you will see more announcements of projects and partners going live and the seeds of DeFi projects beginning to take root on Avalanche.

So is it 12% apy of what 2k avax is worth as the payout? How often is it paid?

>> No.23694235

>>23694139
Bump answer me cant find it on FAQ

>> No.23694487

>>23694139
>How often is it paid?
at the end of the staking period, you decide that period when you are staking to your node.
2 weeks is minimum (wouldnt recommend because then delegators cant stake on your node because 2 weeks is also minimum for delegations). so pick a month or two as the minimum.

>So is it 12% apy
yes, 12% per year on the 2k AVAX paid out in AVAX.
It doesnt seem like much but keep in mind that you can increase your payout by getting people to delegate to your node and you also decide how much fees you get from them (the fee comes from their delegation rewards).

also in the future your node will be able to Validate other subnets like the Athereum subnet for example.

Ty fren. Might pick up a couple nodes. What's your honest opinion on the trajectory of AVAX? Seems like tech is pretty impressive from what I've been reading but the L2 market is saturated

>> No.23694688

>>23694554
>but the L2 market is saturated
the competition has nothing, basically every other L1 or L2 solution is very very centralized, cant scale and is plagued by fundamental problems.
Vitalik also more or less gave up on ETH 2.0, he knows its fucked and plays on time now in the hopes someone else solves it for him, I guess thats why he endorsed AVAX.
>Seems like tech is pretty impressive
it doesnt just seem like it, its all true. it all works, despite its decentralization (600+ independent nodes) it maintains low latency. staking works, delegating works.
its working like outlined in the Whitepaper, they really delivered.
Whats missing is the C-Chain which will launch this month, end of fall it is said that we get Athereum.
So great things ahead for us and I expect it will gain similar acceptance and success like chainlink.
>Might pick up a couple nodes.
running a node is really piss easy and dirt cheap, costs like 12 bucks a month to run the node. they basically pay for themselves.
