The stage and light+sound setup was insane though, probably costs tens of millions to lease all the lighting and sound equipment for the tour (that's how these tours work, t. have friends in music industry) plus to hear some of my favourite songs alongside an amazing visual spectacle was worth. I paid about $150 US for my seats. I usually go to metal shows that are like $20 but every once in a while a big stadium show is cool.

hourly, every candle represents 1 hour. the 200 hour and 200 day moving averages are important metrics that are used by tutes, which is why i use it as my baseline. they use them on those two time frames specifically. it's why you'll often see stock price bounce off of that line during trends.

obviously getting to 10x below the DAILY 200 would be ideal, but that happens incredibly rarely. it happened during the covid crash though and as you can see, it called roughly where the bottom was quite well. but if you never trade except when that happens you'll almost never take a trade, so i like using the hourly and keeping tabs on current events and world news (which is why im not buying now despite many stocks being at or near the 10x below the 200 hourly MA, because of election shenanigans). also obviously it works much better like times before the covid crash, that weren't pricing in the literal apocalypse. even with such an extreme case, it didn't get THAT far beyond it. in general you can note how price tends to stay within the channel and doesn't stay outside of the bounds for very long, so even if you got in early you could just wait it out pretty comfortably, or DCA in instead, maybe using the previous pivot to work off of. it just gives a very safe place to start a position in general as long as you mind the fundamentals.

i like it because keltner channels don't repaint like standard deviation channels do. it's why i switched so i could actually properly backtest it, since StdDevCh's change as the dataset changes so i found them unreliable.

test it out yourself, and when it doesn't work consider the FA involved (FDX is a good example where it doesn't work to the upside because of their insane earnings since covid and ecommerce going nuts, or many major nasdaq companies during the softbank manipulation with billions of dollars worth of options).
