New risk-taker here.

From what is know BTC has a limited supply and some of the tokens are lost so it makes it more scarce.

ETH is programmable but is inflationary.

Please tell me what are the advantages and disadvantages of both of them right now. I'm not interested in promises that future updates bring.

Ethereum has countless other tokens on it for example chainlink. These tokens are issued by centralized issuers.
