What does one buy when crypto dumps forever?
Let's suppose some sort of disaster scenario which would fuck up all crypto.

or some other shit of the sort.

What should one invest in?
>fiat currency is LITERALLY monopoly money (BRRRRRRR-core, in the case of a government collapsing, it will instantaneously be worth nothing)
>real estate is for boomers, have fun getting your house firebombed and losing 50 years' worth of work
>art, etc. - nobody will care about buying art in the middle of a war (inb4 muh germany, they didn't pay for it, nobody would bother with paying for that sort of thing)

in such a shit situation as you described, then true wealth would be self sustainability.

if you have your own shelter ( paid in full) somewhere remote with no dependecy on utility companies to provide your power and heating then that's probably the most valuable thing to own.

second would be a localized farming operation you fully have the knowledge to maintain on your own. along with a seed bank.

Bonus would be to live near a lake that has alot of fish to catch.

you would also need good gun and ammo supply because someone will want to take your shit from you so you have to kill them to send a message you give zero fuckss for human life if theycome fuck with you.

lastly learn thebasics of medicine and health ( hardest of all of these iny opinion)

so true wealth is knowledge and self sustainability.

but because we live in a wage cuck society, crypto is still the only chance you have unless we live in a mad max society which I doubt will happen

Now that i am thinking about it from that perspective, quantum computing doesnt directly obsolete crypto, its a massive threat to humankind because pretty much everything depends on what would be then obsolete cryptography

So assuming this quantum computing is discovered, it depends on the actions of the people who figure it out. They will likely be corporates, if they try to hack crypto, they will succeed for a reasonable amount, but it wont crash to zero, because even they dont wants that, they will do it because they want money, which will keep working for them until :
>crypto devs figure it out and shit quantum-resistant code out of their asses, in which case crypto would have taken a massive hit by now, but also nearly instantly rebounds
>or they keep attacking addresses until most people simply figure out its a lost cause, causing panic dumps.

Now the issue with 2 is that many institutions are now angry, governments that arent in on it now know that cryptography as we know it has expired.

This will either fall back to scenario 1, with the help of government funding and world class research figuring out quantum resistant crypto, OR, a slow decline to non-digitalized world and chaos, basically the "mad max" world
