It's seems better than most and is definitely progress in the right direction. Few things worry me about it, namely the limitation on validators numbers and you can buy the spots using very little of your own investment but loads of other people's.

Its not progress at all. The Pedophile Coomer did nothing new.
Amount of Validators is so low because it cant scale because the tech is old shit, if they added more Validators it would slow down hard.
There is also slashing (means you can lose your funds) and a ton of other fundamental flaws.
