I like the visualize the markets as a bunch of spoiled children pissed off that they didn't get their favorite toy (stimulus) because the grown ups (washington) are too busy and don't give a fuck because of the election.
Nothing has fundamentally changed in the economy. Europe is having a temper tantrum over the Flu, but US GDP is estimated to be up an insane amount.

Oil will always be around, but there is no growth in it in the long run; quite simply, there are too few uses for it. It powers machines. Sometimes it makes electricity, but other times it just moves planes.

On the other hand, EVs and electricity/power in general *including green power* will always be around and useful. You will have a shot with oil, but it isn't a safe long-term bet. Better to stick with EV startups and TSLA (once it bottoms out, again).

hodler here just waiting for dat GDP number to come in two days from nao.

>Five days before Election Day, new data will be released providing the first look at how fast the economy grew in the third quarter of 2020. It’s a safe bet that third-quarter growth will clock in at the fastest pace ever recorded. It’s also a safe bet that the number will be ballyhooed as a great accomplishment. Maybe the greatest ever. But in reality, the job of rebuilding the economy will be far from done. Most economic forecasters expect the GDP growth figure announced on October 29 to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 to 30 percent at an annual rate; some think it could even come in a few percentage points higher than that.

https://www.vox.com/21531764/economy-recovery-gdp-growth

And that's from an anti-drumpf sauce.

not retarded. working as designed. as long as we have liquidity, the market is working. when liquidity dries up the central banks will step in to bail out the folks at the table. people are retarded but the makers are not. situations like these are how we know people are retarded. most of retail. most money managers. big money is not retarded. but sometimes they are. line go up and line go down but sometime it do both.

remember: the market is not the economy. it is a vehicle for the wealthy to play in the largest real world casino that exists, and your role, should you choose to accept, is to try to pick the winning horse. it is working exactly as intended.

They should do game rentals, and rent to own with their used games. They could also expand into translating popular foreign mobile games. Crunchy Roll did Danmachi, I don't see why Gamestop couldn't bring Grandblue Fantasy west. I was also thinking they should ape Limited Runs bit, especially since they have a large platform to advertise their rereleases of old games. It also bothers me that, when it comes to physical games, they just can't burn the game you want onto a blank cartridge or disk at the store itself. That way, we don't have to deal with this artificial scarcity bullshit. It would be fine, even if we had to pay a premium for that service.
