Sergey's 500k are not straight up dumps, he's subsidizing nodes who otherwise would be operating at a loss due to ETH gas prices.
They, in turn, are likely dumping to cover their costs.
Having more nodes to subsidize is bearish.

They just changed from only capturing data from legacy aggregators to using flux aggregators instead. This also includes fewer nodes and likely some sort of filtering involved in the old COR system was removed.

Checkout market.link 's numbers, they are pretty much a match now.
