A 50 dollar price point is perfectly acceptable and makes sense if XRP was just going to be yet another rando currency for normie use. That's not what it's built for, though. It's built for large, fast, cheap inter-bank transfers so its just more efficient if it's worth more. The higher the price point, the fewer xerpees have to be transferred which means faster transfers for fewer resources used. 50 USD is too low to take full advantage of XRPs utility.
