The difference between you and me is that I don't hate young people; I don't look down on people as a class that needs to be throttled and 'controlled'... I don't have a dim view of human nature. We fuck kids up; we fuck their world up; we create fucked up adults, who perpetuate a fucked up economy. That's all that is going on. There is no conspiracy, but the one that cannot be spoken of plainly: that our way of life has no future, that we treat children as chattel and property, that this planet is to be pumped and dumped, and the pinnacle of personal development is capitulation to believing in an ancient regime of mythical dogmas, personal saviors, and assorted just-so rationalizations.

So during this process, there are cycles where it gets diluted and the share price gets knocked down. Until this process is over (probably after the quiet period ends 11/8) it's gonna keep going up and get knocked down further again.

Literally every McConnel presser includes all of this but here's a nice catchall source for all of it: https://www.c-span.org/video/?474504-1/senate-republican-agenda
Long story short, the media told you to ignore the stuff in brackets, and you did.
You only read
>they want A LOT OF MONEY
>THIS BILL IS WASTEFUL, SPENDS TOO MUCH MONEY
>MY CONSTITUENTS WON'T GO FOR IT BECAUSE IT'S EXPENSIVE
From your posts I learned exactly one thing: your personal learning process is broken and far too reliant on leftist media cherrypicking. They painted McConnel as an unthinking cheapskate who is against public health and a sound economy. They painted GOP supporters as people who support an unthinking cheapskate. And you fell for it because you're a fucking retard who never watched a single presser. If you have any signals of republican voter sentiment, you ignored them.
There's nothing else to learn from your posts because you are obviously ignorant, despite being really passionate about this topic, because you failed to watch the pressers. You have nothing to teach anyone.

Don't -- it's pure gambling where you lose everything if you're wrong. Sell covered calls (sell the options to others don't buy them), or go long/short on stocks. Don't follow the herd here on options. Pretty much everyone here playing options is actually losing their asses but they're addicted and only post gains when it happens, painting an unrealistic picture.

>7:30 "the other trillion dollars we're pretty close on - we'll never beat our democrat friends in their willingness to spend money"
>14:05 "I said it when we laid our $1 trillion deal down"
>15:40 "I think I'm pretty safe to say Republicans in the Senate who may not vote for a package if that's where it ends up"
I just watched the entire video you linked. NOWHERE in the entire video do any of the senate republicans say they would support a high price tag stimulus bill, a bill exceeding $2 trillion.
>try again, you lose

Again, talking in circles here, I'm not arguing that the senate isn't opposed to the bill for all the poison pill reasons. I am arguing that the senate, mcconnell himself, have stated that they believe the price is too large, and that they are looking for a bill in the $1-1.5 trillion range, whereas democrats are looking for a bill in the $2-$2.5 trillion range

I can't believe you replied.
>(literally 78 days ago)
- Irrelevant, it shows McConnel's position between CARES and today, that's what matters.
- You should have noticed I said
"every McConnel presser includes all of this but here's a nice catchall source for all of it"
which is true and obviates your concern, you're objecting to nothing here.
>NOWHERE in the entire video do any of the senate republicans say they would support a high price tag stimulus bill, a bill exceeding $2 trillion.
Just say the thing you're trying to prove:
"Therefore, McConnell believes in a $2t hard spending cap, and his constituents also demand a $2t hard spending cap."
- Not the argument we were having, retard.
- Not supported by the absence of one arbitrary dollar target. Just think about it for a second. I am arguing from McConnell's explicit policy objectives and GOP voter sentiment, which are two good pieces of evidence that he might support a bill at any arbitrary cost if it had smart policy objectives.
You're arguing that he never explicitly signaled support for one price target. Your demand JUST ONE source is contrived and foolish because, between
me: "McConnel's interests lean in a certain direction" and
you: "McConnel never supported this exact target number, in the context of using it to pay for stupid policies"
the former is a stronger argument with stronger evidence. You're a fool to disagree.
>Again, talking in circles here,
I accurately summarized McConnell's position and voter sentiment, while proving that your assessment is inaccurate.
That's not going in circles, that's making progress in resolving the argument. You're just unwilling to update your opinion based on stronger arguments.
You repeated your inaccurate assessment for no reason for the tenth time after getting taught by someone with superior knowledge and attention span.
That IS going in circles, but you're the only one doing it.

>Irrelevant, it shows McConnel's position between CARES and today, that's what matters.
If it shows his position, you're not understanding that the video you linked only backs my argument. He explicitly states that they agree on $1 trillion at 14:05, every Senator argues for limited, targeted fiscal policy [note that you did not respond to the timestamps I provided, where each Senator explicitly argues against your case]
>every McConnel presser includes all of this
Yes, he does! He includes all of this, just like you're saying. If you actually watch the video, you will see that what he is including is a smaller bill - that's what he has said all along, over 3 months, in 8 different sources I provided you, same thing, time after time. You're absolutely right, he does keep saying the same thing each time. You're just not listening.
This whole argument started with my original claim that a Biden presidency would = more Democrat control of the House & Senate [as if he was elected, it's likely there would be some democrat gains there too] A democrat controlled house & senate would be more likely to put out a bill over $2 trillion than a republican controlled house & senate (you've already agreed with me on this point) not only that, but that Senate Republicans have balked at the large pricetag of the Democrat proposed stimulus for 3 months. They have consistently said the same thing, that it is too expensive. LET ME BE 100% CRYSTAL CLEAR: I AM NOT ARGUING ABOUT THE EFFICACY OF THE LARGER BILL / IF IT SHOULD OR OUGHT TO BE PASSED. I AM ARGUING ABOUT THE TOTAL PRICE TAG OF THE BILL. A LARGER BILL = MORE MARKET GAINS
Therefore, a democrat controlled house & senate in the short-run, is more likely to lead to a huge bull market & large gains.. in the long-run, fuck no - capital gains / taxes and everything along with it.. there is a HUGE difference between a $2.5 trillion (democrat) bill and a $1.5 trillion (republican) bill

>> No.23421169

>>23420794
My demand for one source is not contrived and foolish when you are unable to provide a single source backing your side and I am able to provide 1,000 [and I have already provided you 8, from both liberal & conservative sources] - when the source that you choose to provide backs my side instead of your own, clearly you can see that there are NO sources backing your side, that mcconnell & senate republicans would support a LARGE stimulus bill over $2 trillion
>might support a bill at any arbitrary cost if it had smart policy objectives.
THIS DOES NOT MATTER. THERE ISN'T A LARGE BILL WITH SMART POLICY OBJECTIVES. saying he would hypothetically support a large bill if it was written right is RETARDED; show me the large bill that Senate Republicans have drafted that targets the right areas. he has explicitly stated time and time again that they are looking for a bill in the $1 - $1.5 trillion range
>after getting taught by someone with superior knowledge
