I laugh my ass off when people respond with "already top 10" when parachain auctions haven't even begun yet. Yeah, the market cap is 3.6 billion but DOT hasn't even been taken out of circulation yet for auctions. Launching a parachain is not going to be cheap. The 3.6 billion market cap will turn into 10 billion by Q2 2021.

I've been thinking about this project quite a bit as a potential addition to my passive income setup. 12% staking rewards currently.

As long as this shit doesn't massively depreciate that's a compelling rate of return. The question is whether it would be worth doing that over staking ETH once phase 0 goes live. I'd rather just hold ETH and get passive income personally.

This. Eth was like $1 when it was "top ten" back in the days. Sub $10 Polkadot is a steal, there's no way this isnt $20 by end of 2021 if they deliver parachains. When they deliver Polkadot v2 (relay chains within relay chains) you're looking at a safe $30 - $40.
You won't get the x100 you can get in shitcoins in a month but its a very safe bullish hold.
