Regarding the effects of the swaps,

We saw huge volatility in pms today, even if it was just a giant whipsaw up and down. Considering that the feeling of most people is "wait and see" re elections, I think this is a taste of things to come.

Obviously im bullish on pms but I fully expect more crashes and slow up swings.

Any devil's advocate arguments for why not to invest in PMs? I understand stocks and housing are bubbles caused by money printing and guaranteed loans. But because of the that, I do not understand why we have not yet reached the tipping point of the con game. Is it not possible the bubble economy will outlive me, maybe even my children?

Seems like wealth preservation is a luxury afforded only to the already wealthy.

I have to keep the awareness of the following scenarios,
1 is a combo of:
>Decreased uncertainty, post election
>"vaccine" or some end-of-COVID-meme declaration
>Increased fiscal spending in target sectors plus QE
>Rebound of GDP

In this scenario you get equities looking much more favorable than other assets, just based on pure DCF math, which big dick money uses. I can only assign this like 15% possibility at most of happening, and there is so much that could go wrong in the long term. Fiscal, for example, just wasting money on gibs-to-nigs as opposed to actual productive spending.

Scenario 2 is
>Fed continues QE
>COVID continues, low GDP
>Austerity instead of stimulus
>Disinflation or 0% YOY occurs like in japan, all assets devalue against the USD.

I think this is low probability, like less than 5%

Klondike controls a massive amount of Ag / Pb / Zn ore bodies in and around the ghost town of Sandon BC. Its not bonanza grade ore, in the 100oz per ton, but it has incredibly massive ore bodies to work with, all in the same grade range. I have the old records for the Ruth Hope mine in my archive, its on their property, the ore grade was around 15% silver followed by lead and zinc, but they just pumped out hundreds of tonnes a week, every week until the price of silver crashed. Its hard to even describe how massive the galena ore bodies are in that area.
The last important note with Klondike is that they have have been slowly building up to operational status for years. Mills ready to go, underground workings are in good order. Now all they need is miners and a stable silver price.

>Could be a couple more years before they go parabolic.

Most likely. If you look at any bull market, the 'parabolic' phase is the last and shortest phase of a bull market. This bull market we have entered now in PM's and commodities in general is a long term bullish market due to the capital flight from the collapsing financial system. How much and how quickly PM's rise is directly correlated with how much and how quickly the system collapses.

I don't believe we'll see an overnight collapse, but rather a constant decline with occasional/regular surges downwards due to negative political/macroeconomic developments

I’ve heard and read from both experts in the financial and metals worlds, and knowledgeable posters here on 4chan, that a major financial markets collapse may not be until 2024 or later. I remember one article mentioning that we could limp along with some kind of digital currency and other modifications until 2030. It will probably take a major catalyst event to make metals and miners go 2x or more, but it will happen. We just may be missing out on gains in the traditional stock market along the way.

I’ve read this post many times, as it was response by this anon to a question I asked. It is compelling and he is right. But I would imagine that we could run on fumes for at least another year or so. But the crash would thus be exponentially worse because of the profound degradation of the dollar and our economy, which is sad, because in order for our investment to appreciate to its fullest potential, it means other people would suffer. And I don’t want that. So I would almost rather have tepid gains in my portfolio, opposed to 100x,, if it meant millions of people wouldn’t descend into poverty and hardship. Based Grug.

Honestly not far off though, some birds and raccoons go nuts for shiny silvery things and hoard just like humans. Read a hilarious story about a car wash that kept having quarters disappear from the machine so they set up a camera. Evidently little blackbirds were going inside the machine and flying out with quarters they were then stashing in the eaves and walls of the carwash where the birds lived. I forget the total but it was something ridiculous like $6,000 in quarters the birds had hidden lol.

There is simply no saving the current system. All fiat currencies in history have met a terrible end and the public are naive enough to think 'this time it's different'. The only thing that will be different this time is the unparalleled scale and force with which this house of cards will come tumbling down. Globalism has created an interdependent web of debt based, hyper consumerist societies.

They will disguise the decline in many different creative ways. One of which is a CBDC. The public will believe that the failed fiat currency has now been replaced with one with 'technological' backing', 'like bitcoin!' they will say. They'll be dead wrong. It will be a bandaid solution.

Another story from a metal detectorist, a backyard was bulldozed and a big old hollow tree was knocked down. In the footprint of the hollow tree he found assloads of nothing but silver dimes, and inspecting the downed tree he saw only only little knothole entrances up the trunk. My hunch is that little birds waited for the man of the house to empty his pockets and have a brew on the back porch after work back in the day and then pilfered and stashed the dimes when he went inside.

Many intellectual arguments for PMs but a good part of it is rooted in ancient animal instinct. That alone makes PMs infinitely more powerful and trustworthy than fiat or cryptos.

Anybody else thinks they know that we know what we know and they're never gonna let anybody on this board get away with it? The price of miners vs pm prices stay stuck, metals themselves naturally climb up only for a smack down red dildo, and yet BRRRRRR only continues at a level where normal people don't even have the money to invest. And why should the big companies care? They can make millions off of a movement of 1-2 percent. That's why BTC has effectively had its wings trimmed.
