>Lately, Zoom meetings have been hitting a nerve with CEOs. JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says there's no vital "creative combustion. MS CEO Satya Nadella calls them transactional, where "30 minutes into your first video meeting in the morning ... you're fatigued."

>In April, many were touting the benefits. James Gorman, CEO of Morgan Stanley, said..."we've proven we can operate with no footprint."... Now members of the C-suite have gone full boomerang on Zoom meetings.

>...a survey in September, found that 40% of people who ran businesses have noticed decreases in productivity from remote working staff..the same group back in April, 56% rated productivity as "excellent."

> Another survey by virtual tech firm Lucid found that workers didn't feel like they needed to behave during virtual meetings...Most of them admitted to "questionable behavior" during virtual brainstorm meetings, including 1 in 10 who admitted using the bathroom while on a call...workers also admitted to exercising, taking a shower, watching TV and cooking or preparing a meal while participating in virtual brainstorm meetings.

>some large companies are doubling down on office space. Facebook is leasing all the office space at an ornate New York landmark, the former James A. Farley Post Office building. Amazon just bought the marquee Lord & Taylor building on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue and leased another 2 million square feet in Bellevue, Wash.

>... What most surveys show, however, is that they also want to meet their colleagues. They miss the casual moments that spark spontaneous ideas. ...reading, research and writing — can, in fact, be done better in a remote setting. But creative brainstorming sessions, project discussions, new client meetings, onboarding of new employees are better suited to in-person settings.

Oh wagey, did you miss those great spontaneous conversations you used to have with your coworkers? I’m sure that made the 2 hour daily commute all worth it.

6 months into the scamdemic, my work continues to pretend an end is near. Each week, work had, increase productivity and we will see returns! Pissing into the wind of the globohomo agenda.
For the first few months I could pretend, act like I worked hard. My daily work logs were near accurate. As the company gained no ground, my work became repetitive. There was nothing else to do. We make no money regardless.
Over months I refined my weekly work into a 30 minute window. I always get my work done. My work log has not changed. My output has not changed. I do any more and I am wasting my time.
So long as the globohomo keep up their covid bluff, so will I.

I'm not talking about my specific office, retarded faggot. I'm talking about how -office jobs- in general being priced at X wage because employers expect that Y% of an employee's time will be spent idly browsing facebook instead of actually working is having a negative effect on people like me who actually have to work continuously because if you stop then there will be a noticeable jam in production and everyone will know it was you, as opposed to "rush through it in 4 hours, fuck around for another 4".

No fuck that Mr. Goldfarb, im fatigued when i have to wake up on 5 hours sleep, get washed, presentable, prepare my lunch, make sure i have everything I'll need all day, get on a train with brown in the freezing cold and then sit in an office with people i hate.

Waking up at 8:55 and having a morning meeting on zoom in my own computer room with breakfast there has been heaven. Also my productivity has 100% gone up.

I used to be late a lot because I'd literally stand outside work for 10 minutes just building myself up to start.
