Why would anyone enter in on a position on this right now? Top 10 market cap, and Sergay is dumping crazy amounts of this shit every day. Does more adoption really equal a rise in value of the coin??

I can see it having a floor of 5, and a max of 15. But not really sure there are any gains left in this. Ik I’m fudding but I’m really just curious in your thought process on this.

The ultimate value depends on demand for CL services. All CL services require CL nodes to operate, nodes require staked Link, nodes pay a certain % for staking Link to the Link owners
Sergey's dumps are to cover operating costs, the largest of which is buying ETH to subsidize existing nodes. Threshold signatures will substantially reduce the ETH cost of operating a node, thus making staking v1 profitable
From that point on it's just a matter of developing use cases and drumming up demand. Until there's enough demand to incentivize all Link holders to stake, the price of Link is a speculation on the future value of CL. Once all Link is being utilized (and demand continues to drive price up), value is simply a function of anticipated ROI. If an investor wants a 5% ROI and the annual staking profit on an average node is $50/Link, there's your $1000 valuation

it's a sad pill to swallow, knowing I put my own financial interests above my ideological beliefs and chose to invest on the dark side winning rather than futilely attempting to fight it, once I become a millionaire thanks to my dear token hitting one thousand american dollars by the end of the year, it will be a sour celebration for me, for by joining the elites I will have also betrayed my own community, while I will be enjoy caviar, champagne and cocaine off the anuses of prestigious prostitutes, the rest of you all will have nothing to eat but spiders and ants and other disgusting insects thanks to the progress of the fourth industrial revolution and the ushering in of the great reset, oh well, however bittersweet a victory it may be for me I'm sure I'll eventually be able to let go of my guilt and simply enjoy my hedonistic pursuits with very little concerns or consciousness issues after a while; perhaps I'll simply donate to a good cause once in a while, yes I'm sure this will fill the void, after all isn't that how they all do it, the ego must preserve the illusion, twisting, rationalizing its own actions as ultimately driven by a selfless goal, a grander design, yes surely this all serves humanitarian purposes, too large, too complex, that the general public couldn't even possibly grasp, therefore it is our duty as rulers in the dark, rulers from above, to guide the masses, against their own will, but for their own good, with our invisible hand, a just hand, iron but fair hand, we must never compromise our resolve, whether you like it or not, you will eat them my friends, oh yes, you will eat the bugs

XRP can't go very high because it has the worst tokenomics of any major crypto. I think it may go back up to 1 USD, or even 1.50 but not much better unless the schizos are correct. BAT is a case where adoption is fizzling out. Compare that with LINK, where the twitter feed for the last year has been a constant stream of new partnerships, new products, increasing integration and most recently expansion of the development team. A lot of the partnerships are literal whos, but now and then you get a Deutsche Telekom to keep things interesting. As long as chainlink continues to expand it will gain greater market share and eventually become the only acceptable option. I only have a 3k stack, but it's gonna be nice when I sell in a few years and have a nest egg big enough to go into business for myself instead of wage slaving.

>>23357547
how long do you expect staking to take to integrate?

I imagine as soon as staking is in, people will flock to chainlink and it's price will skyrocket. 1000 link will give you around $40,000 dollars per year via staking via your maths

All I can tell you is that the reason that /biz/ has been completely obsessed about this project for the last 3 years (bringing every piece of information together, watching every single talk, making memes in our downtime, etc) is because we knew it would power the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
What was the Fourth Industrial Revolution? It was a handful of DeFi rugpulls powered by Chainlink price feeds. It's exactly what we all dreamed of for the last 3 years, now we're all moving on to the next thing.

Have you ever been in those xrp threads? Their entire basis of argument is posting "crypto news" articles at each other which make pretty much no mention of xrp, posting screencaps of low iq Twitter larpers at each other, and trying to larp themselves. It's the saddest fucking thing I've ever seen.

Sounds exactly like LINK gaslighting threads. 100% virtually identical.

Fuck off, tourist. The xrp "crumbs" are extremely low quality compared to links and the forced schizo / larping is such a poor attempt at mimicking link delusion that I cringe every time I see it. I'm sorry but you missed the boat, and you can't build another by trying to force biz to choose your retarded, eternally sub 30c shitcoin.
