Used 5-8k car anon. Especially because you WILL get into accidents being a young driver. You go buy that mercedes, you'll smash it up and not be able to afford the repair bills. I worked my ass off and saved 3000 for my first car, and borrowed another 3k so I could get a nice respectable vehicle. 2 accidents of my own fault, plus another from a kid running into the back of me leaving school. All within 16-18 years of age. Buying a mercedes for your first car is literally lighting money on fire and throwing it out the window doing 90 down the freeway.

Put 10k in bank. Buy a 5-8k respectable used car. Invest the rest, 70% relatively low risk assets and 30% higher risk stocks and/or crypto, dyor.
