Why would you waste your time listening to this? Nothing is said in the interview that isn't already known.

The fact that Real Vision has a paid podcast with Sergey shows you what kind of content they are selling you: opportunities to learn about investments two years after the best entry time.

Read the synopsis; it's stuff we've all heard before, albeit to an audience who have never heard it. I don't think there'll be much new in there. It's great that it's reaching this market, though. Bullish.

RV subscriber here and yes, this is true actually. But you're wrong about the rest of it, Raoul/DanT are blind crypto permabulls. If they were serious then have someone more critical of the space like Ed Harrison or Danielle DiMartino Booth do the interview

>> No.23315194

>> No.23315441

Ed Harrison is a joke man. He’s a diversity hire. DiMartino Booth is okay but she’s mostly around for her massive milkers that make the boomers go wild. Her replies on any twitter post are dozens of boomers simping. I think Dan T has great insights on crypto because he is reformed, it took him a while to get on board. Raoul is slippery I am not sure if he believes it or if he thinks it’s the way to get RV to be profitable.
>>23315137

Raoul already interviewed Vinny Lingham from Civic. What do you think about that?

I'm just interested to see the development. Simply hearing Sergeys intro I know he has been researching realvision and their investment thesis because he touched upon a potential solvency crisis. It is actually useful information to know that Sergey does extensive research before such interviews.

You're it crypto. How many universe shattering killer apps and paradigm shifts have you seen? My guess is low double digit at least? How many did you buy into? Probably not very many. How happy were you for not buying in? Probably either a disinterested I knew it or a smug fucking retards was all you felt after it goes - 90%.
Chainlink seems like it's for ahead because we've lived and breathed it for years now. It's not going to stop moving at $30, and even that's a 3x which is fucking amazing gains by most standards. For these guys it's a brand new fledgling tech, they can see the groundwork has been laid, and they can see the future vision. $10 link to them is what $0.2 was to us. You connect the dots and it just clicks, holy shit this is an interesting project and the price is so low. They don't have time or desire to shitpost and wade through the poo filled streets of /biz/ because they have different hobbies. They might not be buying Amazon when it was just a guy in a closet with a single desk and computer, but I'd say Amazon was still a good buy when it was a single office and a couple warehouses. Wouldn't you? Realvision brought them a real undervalued gem and they didn't have to get scammed by jeets even once before getting their feet wet in crypto. I'm guessing they already have some viewers with btc and eth but hopefully my point came across. Different folks have different rink tolerance and ideas of what's considered early. Double digit link is nothing.

I have learned quite a lot from real vision actually, they are essentially just gold and silver bulls who are moving over to bitcoin and crypto. It is quite fascinating to listen to hedge fund managers and traditional finance guys shorting boomer stocks and buying bitcoin with leverage.

Is it the autism and looking for perfect wording that makes him do that or something else? I notice in his talks and even the other team members and guests in the talks get a little tongue tied almost like they're afraid of saying something wrong. I have the same problem in real life because I was homeschooled innawoods with autism so I didn't talk to anyone my age until college. But these are PhD guys who spend a lot of time in front of crowds and cameras. I still think more easily in text but I've learned how to think in spoken words better than when I started talking. I want to think they are holding their tongue more than getting tongue tied when I see it.

And uh our goal is to move the space beyond tokenization
But there's this thing called uh the oracle problem

He obviously got carried away and started to say something he wasn't comfortable to say. It is difficult to say why, but personally I think he idolizes Satoshi a bit more than he is willing to let the public know. In the interview, he also was about to say bitcoin came as a result of the financial crisis but quickly added "many believe" while shifting his position in his chair. I'm sure he's afraid to be called out if he is wrong on something.
