my job is 90% accounting and 10% financial analysis.

i'd say half of my duties could be automated if my company invested money in using our ERP software the way it was meant to be used and if they trained their moron employees to be mindful of how they classify data, but this will never happen.

and then the other half of my duties are much more judgement based, which would be very difficult and expensive to automate -- you'd essentially need a general AI with an understanding of our business, customer relations, expectations from various departments within the company, audit risk, etc.
