Only idiots don't hold at least 5 BTC.

I used to have 52 now I only have 2. Really becomes harder and harder over the years to not sell your BTC and then back the same number of BTC you had before. I think there is a reason why faggots like this, Winklevii twins, etc don't ever sell. Problem is these fuckers have the money and don't need to sell. I bought a townhouse with my BTC

15 btc now.
All you newfags don't get it
its always about acquiring more satoshis
always
you can make some money and go to fiat and invest in old world, or pay shit off or whatever
otherwise, always more satoshi
do you really think something will supplant bitcoin in this space?
really?

I think people young enough that crypto is something new by the time they start really understanding money genuinely don't understand what a fight it's been getting adoption or what a revolution crypto is.
Even older people (than most early BTC adopters) still control the majority of wealth and are just getting on board now. The second you start to talk with them about other coins or consensus models, you lose them.
BTC will be king for some time still simply because its established, trusted and easy to explain.

bitcoin has been btfo by the nasdaq in the last few years, and it's going to zero because the chinese have a monopoly on it, making it insecure.

I think OP is more or less correct. However there is far more growth potential with Monero. After that ratio corrects I'll likely diversify into Bitcoin.

Do you realize that in a world in which fiat lost its value people won't have the fucking internet anymore because we'll regress to the middle ages?

And in the case it's the government itself that replaces old fiat with crypto. They'll just make a centralized stable coin with private nodes.
Or at very least a shitcoin that performs like utter shit won't be the "king".

When the government-issued stablecoin comes out the BTC maxis will all be wishing fiat money was still around, because then their financial information will be on a public ledger for ANYONE (not just people who like crypto) to see

The ratio still has much more room to correct so you are fine. The next bull run should solidfy Monero at .05BTC at least, probably higher. Consider also that Monero will inevitably be the privacy layer for Ethereum as well once atomic swaps are developed and expanded on. There is so much growth potential in privacy and Monero is the king of that market.

Serious question. Why does /biz have such a big rage boner towards bitcoin? Is it because you prefer one of the forks? Is it because you think ETH is a better store of value? This rage seems irrational in a similar vein to bitcoin maxis being irrational towards other coins. I really don't get it.
