I think how it works is that everything contributed (ETH, wBTC, and CORE) goes to one pool, ETH goes to buy wBTC and if there is too much CORE to balance against wBTC it is sold off for more wBTC. LP is minted and then everyone receives LP in proportion to the value they contributed. That way people can't game it, and changes in prices over the week of the LGE don't affect anything. I may be wrong though.
