23279065 No.23279065 [Reply] [Original]

I have created 500 metamask wallets and did one tx in each of them since the announcement of swaps. I literally get home from work each day and make these wallets and send ETH through them, so far I have spent $80 on tx fees. I know this sounds low, but I was smart and realized that I could do a low gas fee since it wasn't time sensitive like UNISWAP. Once this metamask air drop comes I am going to be so fucking rich.

DRC is trying to give out free candy. 30 Dracula.sucks tokens

But OP could automate his shit through a bot and get over 10,000 addresses complete with automatic claiming and sending to 1 address.

But DRC most likely wants you to buy or sell using Uniswap which is still expensive per transaction. You'd have to find 1 extremely cheap token like Doge where the ethereum network won't tax you much.

Does metamask even know which wallets are generated with it?

>> No.23280862

okok
so I looked into it and metamask created a smart contract that interacts with all the DEXs

its here:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x881d40237659c251811cec9c364ef91dc08d300c

the catch is they charge a .3% fee each transaction
here:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x11ededebf63bef0ea2d2d071bdf88f71543ec6fb

So yes they know who does a swap and its possible theyll do a metamask airdrop in the future

it'll cost around $3 in gas per successful swap

>> No.23280927

>>23280788
No, there's nothing in code that separates mm created addresses

>> No.23280961

>they're not stacking candy for the coingecko airdrop

>> No.23280971

>>23280862
also they dont know if you generated the addresses with the same metamask or not so that doesnt matter
the only thing that will matter is the address that interacts with the swap smart contract

based on fees they can make thousands of dollars a day so I'm not sure if they'll want to create a token and split the fees... but like uniswap they could turn that into billions with a nice looking token

its a gamble
I'll probably generate 30 accounts and throw $100 in gas at this

>> No.23281036

I dont believe you but it doesnt matter, metamask wouldnt be doing any airdrops anyway

because metamask doesnt send any info like that back to their servers. please google "deterministic wallet" to understand how it works. a master key (your wallet seed, essentially) is used to create your first wallet (this key is not a private key, it is used to create your first private key however). every new wallet you make in metamask uses your master key + the fingerprint of all previous wallets, to put it simply. this is how you can import a seed and it can recreate all your wallets on a new machine.

the only way anyone would know you're using metamask is if metamask were cataloguing all your trades and batching them to a centralized database.

Nowhere in the transaction data does it reference what type of wallet is hosting the private key.

This makes sense - but would require users to use the metamask swap function.

I could see it happening - but certainly not a guarantee.

Either way - metamask swap is probably a service worth trying just to see how it stacks up against uni.
