Btcmarkets is good mate. Just buy ETH and btc for now (easy, you can do this on BTCmarkets without messing around with other exchanges).

You will get the best returns by just holding eth/btc and not trading. Don't sell, just keep putting money in from each pay packet and you'll be laughing in a few years

Not OP and just started yesterday with $25.
So I use CoinBase for USD to BTC a little with each paycheck, then transfer like 40-50% of my BTC to Bittrex to invest in altcoins. Come here to get suggestions on where to put money (while weeding out shills) and use Blockfolio to keep an eye on everything? Making sure I got all this right.

Yeah, just invest into BTC and ETH primarily. Drip feed into them and over time youre pretty set to gain profits. Other coins, treat it as bit of fun, like casino at home. Place bets once in a while and see where it takes you, dont treat this as a proper market.
