My bet is yes. Too much inertia in regards to adoption now and the reason to buy requires no additional utility from the underlying chain and even that is looking good for the long term.

Now that companies are holding bitcoin with long term time-frames in mind it doesn't matter if btc had 0 improvements it would still make its way to higher prices. The question is more of how fast and what alts will survive the journey without falling into irrelevance.
