I know you know, anon, but to continuously receive rebase, new cash has to continuously come in (because the token doesn't hold value). Each day is like "yea rebase!" but supply goes up which drives token price goes down (unless new cash is greater than the amount of supply increase).

The project has been living on the early investor momentum (lots of cash initially) so you've been getting those really great rebases, but the tokenomics will eventually lead to the peg and no more rebases, just token burns. And when you can't burn anymore, the price will go to zero.

That's not FUD, that's math.

in other words, you with a rebase project, you can't ever say 'such and such price will get us such and such rebase.'

you always have to say something like '$7 price at $400 ETH will get us such and such rebase, then tomorrow, if we bring in another $2M in market cap and ETH stays the same, we might get another such and such rebase.'

This is why I'm very slowly exiting my position. Staking and the subsequent marketing push will give it a push and i will fully exit at the top. Time to move on. If I hit my target it'll be a decent little ~30x, maybe more. Not saying the project doesn't have legs, i just like to quit while I'm ahead.

I sold at $9 around last week because I had to secure my x7, and I personally believed xETH was running out of steam at the time - IIRC, a "whale" who kept posting lengthy positive messages was one of the main reasons that convinced me to sell without looking back. Well, almost.

Now that I see they apparently faced some issues with the rebases not being the same for everyone, little problems here and there, kept delaying the marketing pushes along with the LP-Staking, if I was still holding I would have sold. The project remains a lukewarm ponzi, and from what I can tell the recent ETH pump didn't help with the rebases so it's become a challenge to keep xETH above the peg price. I suppose they didn't put back the rebase lag to 1/10?

I think the ones with most potential as of now are uDOO and TEAM. But I didn't buy any since I'm too scared. I unironically wish to find another "sneak ponzi" token like xETH though, since the rewards and the mechanics are easily understood giving them more potential to pump even if it's dishonest in nature. The weeks from September 21 to October 4 were extremely comfy.

Regarding WALT, I saw how people who bought a month ago got severely fucked from the ATH. I believe it even went below seed sale prices from 2 years ago (7.5 cents), and despite all of the announcements, staking pools and other stuff, it cannot seem to gain traction for more than 24 hours. It doesn't help that chinks are behind the project and we know how nasty they can get. Also, according to another anon in a previous WALT thread, it seems the UI for the upcoming platform is only visual. He showed using inspecting element how one button didn't actually do anything. I wish warosu would work again because I'd find his post right away. I hope it'll turn out well for you anon, because people have been likening it to a AAVE/LEND but better.
