Formatting my PC as we speak. So many pirated programs downloaded when I was younger. I'll keep the installation files on an external HDD but I definitely won't be downloading them again while I have wallets running on my computer. I highly advise you do the same if you have not already and are beginning to see your net worth grow.

Did the same a few years ago, bought 3 laptops and 2 external 1tb HD. All wallets encrypted with the backdoor IRC channels turned off on all of them (whether they have the IRC coded in it or not). Was a slightly unknown wallet hack a few years back.

how do you check for this and turn it off? What is the point of keeping those enabled in the first place?
