>By the way, the X-Box One sold over 48 million units. GameStop is going to sell tens of millions of the X-Box X's. Let's assume though, that they only sell 5 million X-Box X All Access subscriptions to users that then extend the Game Pass Ultimate subscription for another 2 years at a cost of $360 ($18 a month). $36 ($360 * 10%) * 5 million customers = $180,000,000.
>That's right. In years 3 and 4 combined, if just 5 million customers extend the subscription for two years, GameStop makes $180 million in incremental profit with zero cost involved. That's nearly a quarter of GameStop's current market cap in recurring income at 100% margin!

do note that he's exaggerating it a bit
the very lucrative game pass is also making people preorder fewer games

cant tell if that's because no one bothers to preorders games (they don't ever go out of stock after all unlike niche games) or if they're really thinking to just have the game pass for now with their xbox x preorder
or just scalping faggots preordering the conoles

it would definitely be naive to think that it's an entirely new revenue stream, like movie streaming services vs dvd/bluray sales

infinite squeeze can't/won't even happen yet since short interest is paradoxically too fucking high for it to reasonably occur

PTON and mirror have great growth after covid to because it showed employers people can work at home now. People are moving into the suburbs because you can turn your home into your entire studio now. you don't need to pay for a gym membership etc so even after covid it still has good growth since the next bullrun is stay at home stocks. not even next it's already starting. so buying stocks that allow people to work at home are a great idea imo

definitely better to sell in chunks unless you wanna be the "winners" in OSTK with full regret for selling all Overstock at $10 thinking +100% was good enough.

It wouldn't be the first time, that a home fitness device sold like hot cakes and went completely forgotten and unused just a few months later.

ESTIMATES FOR SHORT INTEREST STAYED FLAT (VERY SLIGHT INCREASE ACTUALLY) THROUGH FRIDAY

Dude it's only been a few weeks. You're not ganna make it if you get worried over it not moving up every time you look at it. Take a look at WKHS and NET today and try to apply your current line of thinking with how those stocks performed for months. If you have a strong position, just keep it; you aren't going to be able to prepare for its unexpected moon. It'll happen when you least expect it and you'll be investing in $ROPE if you miss out on the moon mission just because you were impatient and fomo'd into already mooning stocks. Don't chase positions that have already jumped, stick in the ones that have potential but aren't budging. They'll pay off, you just won't know when.

1. Big finance WANTS him re-elected. They do NOT want higher corporate taxes. They do not want more regulations. They want a Trump presidency.
2. Institutions will not intentionally sell 'just to crash the market to make sure he doesn't get re-elected" -- again, they WANT him elected. They are not going to eat a huge loss, intentionally, to try and get the guy they want not elected.

Again, pls never post here again. You are clearly retarded to suggest that the institutions are going to fabricate a dump in order to prevent Trump from being re-elected.

I understand you get this meme from the shortsight article, but you should really read the whole thing before repeating it blindly.
https://www.shortsight.com/short-interest-of-float-2-0/

yes the float is artificially expanded because of the short sales. That doesn't however mean you can infinitely expand the float or short indefinitely, and continue to make a squeeze less likely by shorting more.
>This also explains why true stock loan based short squeezes are so rare, as short selling in a security increases the lending and keeps stock borrow rates relatively stable or growing at a slower rate for longer than if there was no “synthetic long” lending pool replenishment.
>BUT once we reach a tipping point where there is minimal or no replenishment due to new “synthetic longs” stock borrow rates skyrocket; stock locates become harder to get and recalls start hitting the street.
>First, we are nearing the top end of SI % of Float as it is very rare to have more than 60% of Float + Synthetic Longs in a stock’s lending pool.
>Second, at a 57.22% S3 SI % Float coupled with a logically correlated 33% stock borrow fee we can make the assumption that there is not much stock borrow supply left in the stock and if the S3 SI % of Float increases, rates will increase at an exponential rate on the relatively small amount of new stock borrows that are still available to take down.
>And third, the chances of a short squeeze in the name is very high. If long lenders or long margined\rehypothecated shareholders sell their stock, there is very little stock borrow to replace the shares being removed from the lending pool.

All throughout thursday it was evident that you can't find shares to borrow anywhere. This is getting extremely close to endgame

Take this as a lesson, anon. We've all been there. Trying to time the market is a fool's game. Buy the dip, but selling low will bite you in the ass 90% of the time. Don't swing trade. Hold your positions if you're truly confident in them, because you're NOT going to be able to lick profits from the top consistently enough to make the risk worth it. I had a lot of success swinging WKHS but the profits I made short term aren't even higher than the profits I'd have had if I just purchased every bottom and held instead of swinging top and bottom trades. I still have some WKHS so not complaining too much, but I have about half the shares I began with since I spread its locked profits among other stocks after losing a bit of confidence in Sep from no deal announcements.

In the case of PLTR, I don't see any negative news along the horizon that could tank it, so at worse it'll crab for a while and get some dips here and there that will get bought out (like today's). But then out of fucking nowhere it'll get a pump and set new higher highers and higher lows.

tl;dr - if you buy a position, you bought it for a reason. Don't go against your instinct unless some serious negative happening comes along.
