I had temporary tinnitus last week because I put my fucking work earplugs in incorrectly. I would kill myself if I had to live with it for the rest of my life

Same. Makes me wanna rope myself when it combines with migraine.

Me also. Started about 6 months ago but I'm too busy being an alcoholic and having hangovers to go to a doc about it. I might just an hero if it's impossible to stop because I'm a person who likes peace and quiet. Maybe that's why i turned into an alcoholic.

Don't worry anon, I noticed it too earlier this year, it's only annoying the first week then it becomes baseline so you don't even notice.

I've had an high pitched noise on the left ear that has been there for fucking years, somewhat got used to it. But this march or so I had a very strange cough (which now I realize it was probably covid) that persisted for like 3 weeks, then I developed a low rumble noise on my right ear. I've found people that after covid has a persistent tinnitus. I hope it's not some sort of neurological damage or blood cloth. It has gotten better but when I put my finger inside the hear the rumble comes back for a while. Also I cannot use headphones anymore because the low bass and enclosure brings back the low rumble sound.

I had an ear infection as a child which I think caused me to have tinnitus, I only just found out recently that the quiet low fuzz in my ears all the time is not normal. I thought that's what "the sound of silence" was

you guys should probably see neurologists, ENT's, or like... orthos/PTs who deal with head/neck stuff or sometimes even a smart dentist. some tinnitus is probably just you being fucked for ever like from an injury of some sort but sometimes it can be fixed.

i definitely do, which can be contributed to going to many concerts without hearing protection. once i realised how fucking quick it can permanently fuck my ears, i started using earplugs. given that concerts havent been a thing for most of the year, my ears arent too bad but i work in an industrial environment so taking my earmuffs off for seconds can be deafening. if you listen to music through headphones or earbuds try and stop for a few months and see if anything changes, that was also another contributor to my tinnitus

I think I know that rumble sound. Usually happens when I stop listening to something with my earbuds, but it only lasts for like 30 seconds plus if I "flex" my inner ear to create my own rumble, it goes away. Ears are fucking weird.

Tinnitus bros, it's not so bad, at least we didn't lose our sense of smell/taste like some covid cucks did.
