Sasha Ivanov (check his twitter by the way), the main developer for Waves was at the St. Petersburg International Economic forum.
There is also a major hypetrain coming for Waves. They will be introducing Waves 1.0 with a new roadmap and cutting edge tech. It will be a whole new coin and platform by the end of this summer.
