The Chainlink business is peculiar. On one hand it still seems undevalued relative to the crypto market as whole (there is no reason why LINK should not be #3 at this point, forming the "big three" of crypto alongisde BTC and ETH). On the other hand, crypto as a market seems grossly overvalued in relation to what it actually delivers. This results in a contradiction: Chainlink seems both undervalued in relation to the crypto market but grossly, comically overvalued (as is the entire crypto space) relative to the financial markets as whole. One should think this if he judges crypto as a market reliant on actually delivering on its promises by making it technologically functional and viable. On the other hand, if BTC is instead simply logarithmically rising towards a more stable (price-wise) and less volatile (in the long-term) "store of value" asset, then the valuation might not seem so far fetched anymore. The question then is what are the "altcoins"? And really the answer might be just the more volatile/speculative assets of the same ilk as BTC who is bound to be the #1 and the most stable one. This still bodes well for Chainlink. As it is, whether crypto proves simply to be a new class of assets or an actually technologically useful thing with valid real-world applications remains to be seen. There is a possibility it could be both, nevertheless Chainlink seems to be the project that offers an intriguing combination of upside relative to risk, perhaps a more attractive option than BTC for those who are looking to make bigger gains in the short-term. If the useful technology premise fails, it will be interesting to see whether ETH, LINK etc. simply prove to be silver to BTC's gold.

My advice to you dear /biz/ shareholders, given that you hold modest levels of capital is to continue with your investment in LINK at least until the next BTC peak in late 2022 and keep an eye on developments as they relate to real-world usecases as well as the development of crypto space as an asset-class. If instead the entire crypto space crashes with no recovery for whatever reason (that is, the coins do not remain viable even as a purely speculative option) then of course you are screwed. But if not, there is little reason to think that anybody should not be fully invested into Chainlink, perhaps only adding a BTC position for those who are more risk-averse. For philosophical reasons backed by some quantitive information I have been able to obtain through my research I am inclined to believe that we are witnessing a birth of a digital gold in BTC with other coins offering a more speculative, volatile versions of BTC. I remain agnostic towards the "real-world" actual industry or technological large-scale usage of any crypto but retain an open mind about it.

Bunch of 4channers tried to force it as /ourcoin/, during the presale ico phase of chainlink there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale. Bunch of anons pooled up together and shared presale links to fill them with their eth.

Coin continued to get shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 18 people next to the public toilets, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of bagholder anons.

Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.

The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you faggots to still be in profit when the time comes.

In regards to actual project that chainlink aiming to achieve it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself.. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. Would take a lot longer to get it working with bitcoin but the bitcoin core devs would be able to work out the solution a lot quicker than chainlink will, think that's something worth noting that literally nothing is completed and you're literally just buying a whitepaper, they have only 2 developers and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team

you seem high iq
how the hell did the store of value emerged for btc when it was originally supposed to be a currency also considering the fact that it had a massive increase in price it looks like a speculative asset with no practical utility

Anyone care to explain why most Link Marines aren’t paying attention to Quant?
It’s unironically about to do what you think LINK will.
Ex-LINK fag, now all in QNT, btw.
