If it got to that point where thousands of dollars were in question, why would I turn to a small cryptocurrency company and get paid out in said crypto instead of small claims court or some shit?

Makes no sense. Also, due to the complex nature of the coin and how long it would (feasibly) take for it to be adopted, you're looking at the price AND adoption not going up for 3-5 years minimum.

You can’t use traditional courts because it would be slow and expensive for a matter which could be a few hundred dollars. Kleros is quick cheap and trustworthy.
