I had a phone job where you had to answer questions and the processing times were really slow, the shipping date wasn't known exactly in advance so you couldn't in good faith give a definite date,and the delivery method used was a pretty obscure bulk mailing type that could take anywhere from a couple days to 2 weeks.
People would basically be like "Wow, you aren't helpful at all" when I would just tell them the truth. I mean that's really all the company's fault but only like 50% of the people actually realized that.
We had people who lied just to make it easier, then when the customer called back and got the correct info they would not believe you.

I'm a picky eater and trying hard to gain weight. As much as the shit food costs compared to if I made it at home damn right I want what I ordered. Maybe it's hard because spicy tendies button is kind of close to gross tendies button, or I don't want mayonnaise because I'm not a nigger, or I paid extra for items and they weren't included. It's not my job to double check their work but if I don't I only get half the shit I ordered. I mostly take issue with mcdonalds here because even using the mobile app so it is text instead of spoken orders they still struggle with a meal for two people. I can't imagine the headache it must be for a family of three or four to order. I've gotten a bacon mcdouble more than a few times when ordering a double Cheeseburger with bacon. Not even close to the same thing so I've given up when adding one extra ingredient to a standard menu item is too difficult. And yes, I tried ordering a bacon mcdouble with one additional piece of cheese. They either charge you for it and omit it or put two slices together instead of making it like a normal bacon double cheeseburger. At that point I realized they were being stupid on purpose. Mustard is a standard ingredient on the bacon mcdouble as well as diced onions. Never have I received one with both, and rarely do I get it with one or the other. I'm just a customer but I know their job and the menu many times better than they do.
Some customers are bad I'm sure but I don't know how you can stand working with coworkers so fucking stupid and incompetent.
